I was more than excited that Jeremy had agreed to help me with my situation. I had done everything I could think of, including going to Rose for advice. Nothing had worked. Isabelle was just so different from everyone else. She saw right through me and my usual antics. She was the eldest daughter of the rogue we rescued when Jeremy was visiting as a suitor seven years ago. She had just turned 18 when we met them and I didn’t really pay them much attention. But I ran into her around four years ago. We had run into a couple of rogues one day out on patrol.
