My father started losing faith in me as a leader when I turned 17, right after Dimitri Baranov’s daughter called off our engagement. I admit that I was stupid when I was younger, I thought the world was my oyster and that everyone needed to bow down to me.

Because of my mistakes, I lost the mantle and my father started training my younger brother to take over after him. I love Cian and would kill anyone who dared to hurt or defy him, so I resigned to being his Enforcer and right hand. It is still a respectable role and I get to take my anger out on anyone late with their payment, but watching my brother fail at every turn pisses me off.
