Laura scoffed at Lucian on their way to his car. "Isn’t it weird for them to request a family lunch? We haven’t done that in ages. It’s giving me creeps to think that we’re going to eat as a family right now."

All of them, including Tyler and Laura, hopped into the Alpha’s car. Emily was quiet as she settled into the back seat. After what happened in the academy’s courtyard, she had no strength to question anyone in the car about the family lunch.
