Ten

Tia's POV

I lied to my mom about where I went. I didn't know why I didn't tell her the truth.

Sleep came for me the moment I shut my eyes.

The dream came again but this time I found myself in the gentle embrace of Alpha Orion.

The look in his eyes was something I hadn't seen before. It was strangely gentle just like his usual look but very different. It was as if he couldn't get enough of me.

My eyes flipped open without warning and I needed to get ready for school.

I finished taking a shower and just like the first day my dad's car was parked in front of the building waiting for me.

I frown ed when I realized it wasn't my dad's car.” Hello, Tia.” It's beta Vincent.

“ You father has something urgent to do so I will take you to school today.” He explained, pulling the car door for me.

“ Thank you.” I said politely as I climbed into the car.

“ I heard your mom visited you last night.” He asked all of a sudden and I nodded.” Yes she did.”

“ He brought me my supplements. I forgot to take them.” I explained, not in the mood to chit chat as my assignment was still sitting in my bag and untouched.

I didn't know what kind of punishment the teacher was going to give me.

Detention?

Or maybe clean the toilet for a week?

I didn't want to give the wrong impression but it seems I was going .

“ Are you okay?” Beta Vincent asked and I pulled out of my thoughts.” I'm fine.” I said, staring ahead.

I could see the school building gradually coming into view.

“ Are you sure you are okay?” The car pulled over and I finally looked at him.” I don't know but I'm sure I will.” I said and he raised a brow.

“ Talk to me.” He insisted and I chewed the inside on my mouth.

“ I think I'm going to get punished on my second day in school.” I said in a low guilty tone.

“ Who will dare?” He said, his voice a low growl.” I didn't do my assignment and the teacher made it clear.” I explained pretty sure I would be punished.

I have never been in detention or have to work under punishment in my life. I was a serious student.

I always did my assignment and comply effortlessly with school rules.

“ I can can talk to that teacher if you want.” Beta Vincent suggested but I immediately shook my head.” That will be too awkward.” I whispered.

Even back at the Dawn pack I never used my parents influence to my advantage. I always stayed out of trouble and made sure I wouldn't land myself in a situation that I would require my parents influence to get me out.

My mom was the assistant head teacher, yes but I never found myself in a situation that needed her influence to get me out.

“ You rather get punished than let me help?” He said and I stayed silent.

“ Maybe I should inform Orion.” he said and I turned my head to look at him.

“ What does that even mean?” I frowned.

My mom would have been understandable but why call the Alpha?

“ It's mean he can save you from anything and anyone.” He replied and I scoffed.” I don't need saving.”

He smile shaking his head.” Of course you don't need saving “

“ Why would he bother with me?” I asked. Not like he has anything to do with me. Besides he has found his mate whom I was sure need him more.

Something inside me felt bitter but I didn't dwell on it or make it show on my face.

“ That is because you mean a lot to him “ beta Vincent said and I stared back at him.” Who? Alpha Orion?” I asked but he didn't answer and just let out a sign.” You should head inside. You will be late.” He said, ignoring my question.

I nodded before stepping down from his car.” Tia” he called and I turned to him.

“ The next time you have such a complicated problem, I suggest you go see him. He might have a solution.” He said and before I could ask him anything he shut the car door and drove off.

Did he mean I should send my assignments to Alpha Orion? I watched the car drove away.

It was no longer my first day but the fact was I was still new even thought I didn't feel like it. I had Ramy and Lucy by my side and thanks to them I didn't feel lonely or anything.

“ That is Michelle. The princess of the stone pack.” Ramy pointed out to a girl in short skirt and a white hair band that hold her hair at each side as we sat at the cafeteria with our food.

St out usual table at the corner.

Today I didn't take barbecue because I felt I have had enough of it plus last night I had some at Orion's place.

I wondered if that was were hr lived and if he has really found his mate like beta Vincent said.

“ I heard her father is still discussing marriage with Alpha Orion.” I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Orion's name.

“ What?” I asked and both Ramy and Lucy stared at me.

“ Michelle. She would have become the Luna of this pack if she was a bit older.” Lucy explained and I followed her gaze to the her.

She was seated with a group of girls surrounding her like a princess.

“ Central high is full of hitches like her.” Ramy spats and looked at her bitter expression.

Central high didn't only comprise of student from only the central pack but also different neighboring packs just like every normal Scholl except that it wasn't normal.

“ Does that mean she is engage to the Alpha Orion?” I whispered almost to myself.

“ No. Alpha Orion didn't accept the engagement because she was only fifteen then.” I raised a brow.

Surprised.

The alpha of the stone pack must be desparate or something to offer his fifteen years daughter for marriage.

“ So I heard you live in the main pack building. What about your parents, are they busy or something?” Ramy asked as the conversation took a three sixty turn towards me.

I parted my lips but nothing came out so I closed it.

“ No. I mean yes. I live there.” I did t how to tell them I didn't have a wolf so I was asked to stay in tbr main pack building.

“ Do you live apart from your parents then?” Ramy asked and I nodded.

I took a sip of my juice.

“ That must be thrilling, getting to see the alpha everyday. I heard his beta is good sight as well.” I raised a brow as I turned my eyes to Lucy who didn't see surprised with Ramy's vogue words.

“ No. He doesn't live in the main pack building.” I replied awkwardly, not interested in explaining further. I didn't know but talking about the alpha feels more uncomfortable than it should.

“ How many body counts?” Ramy suddenly asked and I froze.

“ How many guys have you been with?” She elaborated, not like I didn't understand her the first time I was just shock.

Did that even matter?

“ None.” I mean zero.

“ What?” Both her and Lucy exclaimed as if they just heard something shocking.” You are the good girl here.” Ramy rewarded as that was an achievement. Well I guess.

“ I have been with six guys and the last one is still pleading for me to accept him back.” Ramy confessed proudly and I surely didn't know how to feel because this was the first time I have made friends or talked about such.

I probably feel sorry for the six guy.

“ I have just four but it might increase to five by the end of the week.” Lucy said with a determined look in her eyes and I followed her gaze to the table behind us. There was this guy with long black hair and he seemed to notice our stares considering the fact that he was a werewolf just like most of us.

“ You think you will get him to fall for you by the end of the week?” Ramy asked Lucy referring to the guy behind us. Whoever he was I think he was Lucy's new crush.

“ Zack is mine.” Lucy says and I let out a sign.” I think he is looking at Tia.“ Ramy raised a brow and I turned my head only to bumped into his gaze.

Something about his stares felt weird and I could feel it.
