Thirteen

Tia's POV

“ Thank you Alpha Orion for saving my Tia. I will take it from here.” My mom said and my eyes met him before he stepped out of my room.

“ Now, go take a warm bath. I will be right here.” Mom said and I nodded, watching the closed door.

I could still picture how he held me back in the room. My body almost touched his body and how his lips touched my skin.

I shivered and my whole body felt cold as I take off my wet dress to get into the bathtub.

The scene continued to replayed in my head. He called me beautiful and even kissed my neck.

I touched my neck where his lips had touched.

I didn't know what came over me but my eyes slowly shut as I began to picture everything that happened.

How he carried me inside, how he touched me and how he looked at me.

Was I imagining something?

“ Tia, are you okay or do you need any help?” My mom's voice crashed my thoughts and I immediately realized the water was getting cold.

“ I'm coming out “ I said stepping out of the bathtub and grabbing a towel to cover myself.

My mom was standing by the window with a silent expression in her eyes.

It was at if she was thinking of something. I changed into fresh clothes and edges my mom to change but she told me my dad would be here to pick her up.

When my dad arrived she was hesitant to leave me by myself.

She had wanted to take me with her but after the pack doctor arrived to check on me she suddenly changed her mind.

I didn't know what the doctor told him. I mean Alpha Orion but it was obvious he said something to her forcing her to drop her decision of taking me with her.

My dad gave me a hug before they left.

The rain has stopped and the night has grew quite.

I was laying on my bed engrossed in thoughts when suddenly I heard move movement from outside.

I walked to the door and I could clearly hear Alpha Orion's voice getting closer.

I wondered who he was talking to at this time and why he was still around when he clearly left.

Curious.

I pulled the door opened slightly that was when I saw the doctor from earlier.

Alpha Orion seemed upset about something.

“ Find out how they died. I don't care how you do it, I want answers by tomorrow morning.” Alpha Orion said sternly and for some unfortunate reasons he shoved his gaze towards my door and I felt he saw me.

I immediately let go of the door and stepped back.

My eyes staring at the closed door.

A part of me wished he would walked in.

Why did I want him in my room?

I stepped forwardly slowly and peek through the small opened space.

My gaze ran into his and I froze for a few seconds before shutting the door and stepping back again.

“ But Orion.”

“ Do you fucking work, Zack. I won't repeat myself.” I heard his voice and I held my breath.

I felt his steps getting closer.

My eyes fixed on the closed door with a pounding heart waiting for it to open any moment but it never really opened.

His footsteps dissapeared like he was never there.

The next day I woke up later than I should.

" Oh shit.!" I cursed when I saw the time.

It was almost seven in the morning. How the hell did I sleep for this long?

my gaze fell at the bed side, checking for my alarm but damn it.

There was no alarm.

I shoved the blanket off my body and stepped out of bed.

I took off my dress and walked under the shower only to realized the water wasnt flowing.

I let out a loud growl before picking my clothes from the floor and grabbing a towel to cover myself.

I needed to be in school in the next hour before I miss the class project.

It was important for my future career especially if I wanted to graduate next year.

An idea pooped inside my head and I ran out of the room.

I bumped into one of the pups. She looked younger than me and she looked like she just finished taking a bath.

I knew there was water someone.

I asked her where I could get water and she asked me to head downstairs to any of the room.

I thanked her and went back to my room to get my stuff.

After the warm shower I walked out with a towel around my chest but not without perking out to check if there was anyone around.

I was certain there was no one around until I bumped into someone on the stairs.

My forehead hit the person and I felt a hand grabbed my waist firmly as if trying to prevent me from falling which worked.

“ Where did you go?” the familiar voice said and my eyes shot up.

Alpha Orion!

I froze for a few seconds before trying to pull back but held me firm.

He stared down at me with his left hand holding my waist firmly.

“ Orion?” I whispered and he growled slightly, not in a warning but something about how he growled felt peaceful.

I didn't realized my towel was slipping. His eyes slide down from my face.

“ You haven't answered me.” He whispered in his deep tone coursing goosebumps to raise on my skin.

“ Tia.” He called, his voice calm and soft.

“ Huh?” I found myself responding but still in a dens.

“ Did you come down to take a bath?” He asked, his eyes staring down at my chest and I immediately pulled out from his hold.

I pushed my hair behind and lowered my head as if hiding my face from him.

“ You will be late for school.” He said and I ran up that stairs without looking back.

my heart was pounding in my chest when I got back into the room.

I didn't know what was happening to me.

Something feels off with me and it was mostly when I was around him.

I dressed up in my new uniform and left for school.

" I want to see all of you sitting in groups." the teacher said the instant I walked into the class. I didn't get a group.

" Tia. You are in group two." he said and I wondered where group two was seated because everyone was seated in group.

" Group two, Tia is your group leader." the teacher announced and Ramy lifted her hand to call me over.

I walked over to the corner and took a seat.

I didn't take a good look at the group members until my gaze settled on the familiar face.

He was looking back at me, not bothering you hide his gaze.

What the hell was he looking at?

I frowned because wasn't hiding his stares even now that I was looking back at him.

" You have something in your hair." he said all of sudden and streched his hand to touch my hair but I pulled away.

Instead of him to stop, he stretched further and pulled out a white strand from my hair.

My real hair.

" Next week every group will desmostrate for us to see." the teacher said and he smiled at me before standing up on his feet and leaving the class.
