Orion's POV

I expected this since there was someone in the pack selling out informations but I didn't expect them to find out about Tia this soon.

Have I been making things very obvious?

There was no time to fucking think about this.” We caught them before they could snop into the pack.” Vincent said as we got to the edge of the forest.

They were obviously on a mission.

I pulled off my shirt and without replying I shifted into my black wolf.

Now in four toes, I ran deep into the woods with Vincent behind me.

He was eguslly in his wolf as we trailed to the border where the six bastards were held.

They were rogues and there were no fucking need to bring them into the pack to course unnecessary panic.

I wasn't surprised when I saw Vito there with the warriors, Tia's father.

The man was a strong gamma and he took his work really serious. I just pity his previous pack because losing him was a huge mistake on their side.

He was a very intelligent man with a sharp tracking sense, one of the reasons why I put to the position he has now.

I shifted back in my human form as I neared my warriors.” Alpha Orion” Vito bowed him head slightly and nodded to him. I mostly don't reply to greetings but he was my mates father and I wanted to treat him accordingly.

For Tia's sake.

I walked straight to the six rogues kneeling on the floor. I grabbed one by the neck and raised him up effortlessly.” Who sent you?” I asked one question, veins popping on my arms and neck but after waiting for a few seconds without any reply I twisted his neck and let him fall off my fingers.

I knew very well someone wanted me dead but I have never paid attention because I knew it was just their wishful thinking.

My death and downfall would only happen in their dreams but this time it wasn't just about me.

Tia was also in danger. Someone out there knew who she was to me and therefore wanted to get their hands on her just to use her against me.

Or worse want her dead.

My beast growled, the thought of something happening to her made my eyes burn in flames.

Just the thought of her falling I to the wrong hands makes me want to tear the world apart.

My beast wasn't any better.

The rest of the five rogues stared in panic as I walked slowly, patient towards them.

My eyes had fire in them and my fiest clenched beside me.

I didn't care about the enemy beside me because I wasn't scared. I wasn't the least affected in anyway not their their resent brought any disaster to my reign.

They didn't post at a threat at first but now was different.

They know I have found her and would use her to achieve whatever they wanted.

“ We took an oath. We can't disclose anything.” One of them said and I stared up at Vito before shifting my gaze to Leo, my gamma.

“ I don't want them smelling in the pack.” I told him and with that I turned back and shifted intoy beast.

This time I wasn't followed by anyone. Vincent stayed behind or maybe I didn't bother waiting or checking whether he was behind me or not.

I just wanted to go back to her and make she was fucking okay.

She didn't know I was her mate. She had no idea who I was to her and as much as I wanted her to know I didn't want to push her.

I have t forgotten why she had to live her parents house and stay in the pack house.

I have Vincent monitering.

But I didn't think it was enough. I need Edmond to study her.

I didn't know but I feel something was wrong. She was eighteen and naturally she should be able to shift.

Not like she didn't fucking have a wolf because I knew she had and I could smell her. I didn't the first time we met and now.

Whatever that was blocking her shift, I would definately fish it out.

I shifted back into my human form when I got to the mansion.

I took the backdoor because I didn't want to scare her with my current appearance. I was naked and I doubt sent would he comfortable with that.

I went up to my room upstairs to get something to wear before coming back downstairs to check on her but she was gone.

Her sweet innocent scent lingered in the space.

It was quite.

My eyes ran around. There were no omegas because I didn't want anyone in here.

I built this place for my mate and now that I have found her, she belong here and nowhere else.

I stepped out of the mansion. It was built at the empty side of the pack land. There were no warriors to ensure security buy it was safe especially inside.

I walked the path , following her scent and a few steps to the main pack block I saw her with her mother.

She handed her something and without a word she shoved it in her mouth.

“ You didn't tell me where you went “ With my sharp seneses I was able to eat drop. Sharon's sharp voice.

“ Nowhere, just taking a stroll.” She lied and my eyes narrowed.

I knew Sharon was overprotective of her daughter but why did she not tell her she was with me?

Unless she wouldn't take it well.

What was Sharon up to, I couldn't help but be curious.

' Get Edmond to look at her.' I mind linked Vincent.

' What, you think she has medical issues?' Vincent asked.

I watched as Sharon hugged her daughter." Go to bed. You need rest." She said to her.

' Not really but I think I should start from somewhere.' I explained and he signed.

' I will take care of it '

' Anything else you want, Alpha?'

' I want to see how many times Sharon visits her.' I ordered.
