Twelve

Orion's POV

It was barely dark when I got the message from my beta that two wolves were spotted near the main pack building.

I immediately understood what that meant and what they were after.

The were looking for her.

Tia.

My fated mate and that didn't sit well with me. They were closer than I ever thought and that meant Tia wasn't safe.

Vincent had them imprisoned but before we could torture them and pull out answers from them news of a group of rogues trying to breach the borders reached me so I had to ran along with my beta to the borders and deal with them.

In the past I never cared about interrogate or serking answers from our attackers. All I do was just slaughter them in cold blood to scare others from following the same mistake but now was different.

My beast was being protective of her. Tia. Our fated mate.

I was at the borders when I received the news that one of my warriors was caught trying to free the two intruders.

They weren't rogues even though their scent were masked, I could still tell they weren't.

That was strange but I wasn't surprised knowing how many alphas out there want to destroy me.

Those rogues were like a distraction. Part of a plan to free the two wolves in the dungeon so I wouldn't be able to pull words out of them.

Whoever was behind this thought this fucking through but they have made the wrong move by picking the wrong target.

My beast wanted to tear the asshole into pieces but I had to get him to talk first. I didn't bother with those rogues since I had three wolves in my dungeon to play with.

I others my warriors to bury them alive. There were six of them and I didn't need them.

The warrior panicked the moment I stepped into the dungeon. I recognized his scent as one of my warriors but I didn't know him personally.

Hus fave did look familiar but that didn't matter because now he would answer every question I ask him.

I grabbed one of the intruders and shoved him against the wall, causing the other one gasp in fear.

I was the feared for a reason but this was nothing compare to what I could do to them.

My beast eyes flashed at the warrior who thought he could betray me.

The dirty smell in the dungeon laced with blood lingered in the air.

My beast wanted to come forward he ce making his presence know through my eyes.

My claws pulled out frightened them.

“ Alpha Orion.” The warrior gasped in terror as I walked over to the asshole on tbr floor.

I grabbed him by the neck and looking him in the eyes.

“ Who sent you?” My voice was deep, cold and demanding.

I already knew what they were after. I just wanted to know the bastard that dared to target my mate.

My claws dug I to his skin as I tightened my grip on his neck.

“ I don't know what…” I snslked his neck off him body.

Blood splashed on my face and I shoved him into the cold dirt floor.

I wasn't a patient man. I have never been one and would never waste my time on traitors.

I looked around between the two men toee in the dungeon already knew which one to go for.

My action inserted fear in their heart and I loved it.

I walked to my warrior who thought he could betray me.

“ Who are you working for?” I asked a d hid lips began to shake.

“ I don't know his name he came to me and offered me money to spy on you. He wanted to know everything about you.” He confessed, his eyes shut as if afraid of looking me I'm thr eyes.

“ How much did you tell him?” I demanded and he opened his eyes.” Alpha….” He started and I stepped towards him.

“ I only told him about the new girl and how close you are to her.” His lips shook.

I guess my fate with Tia wasn't something I could keep to myself.

If this bastard was able to tell how different I treated Tia then I could imagine what Sharon would be thinking.

I turned and nodded to my beta before running out of the dungeon to go find her.

My mate.

I needed to know if she was okay. The rain was hiting hard on tbr ground and the heavy storm wasn't making it any better.

I picked her scent a feet feet away from the main pack building and I brow pulled together.

It was rainy and I was fucking hoping she would be inside her room sleeping. What the hell was she doing out here?

I halted when I saw her coming in my direction.

Wet and dreached.

She froze when she saw me and I let out a slight chuckle.

I didn't let her speak as I scoop her in my arms and shoved her over my shoulder.

“ Let me go. My mom needs me.” I didn't listern to her nagging and simply took her to her room.

Thr rain was hiting hard and I didn't want her catching fever.

Her wolf would have protected her but she hasn't shifter yet.

I climbed the stairs and into her room.

I made sure to lock the door as soon as I stepped in.

I set her on her feet and she swallowed. Her eyes roam on my chest for a while before looking away and trying to walk out again.

“ You are not going anywhere.” I said sternly and she parted her lips to say something but nothing came out.

I thought as much.

“ What are you doing. My mom is stuck somewhere out there and I'm trying to go help her.” She explained hoping I would let her go but I shoved my hands in my pocket.

Watching her smooth face that had water ticking down made my beast want to touch her and claim her.

The strand of fake her lingering her face.

She was young. Just eighteen, u touched, innocent and mine.

My beast suddenly kicked in and with a seed of light I was in front of her smelling her neck wildly.

“ They were very close.” I whispered. Loud enough for her to hear.

They almost got to her.

I did t know what I would have done if something bad had happened to her.

“ Orion.” She called my name for the first time without adding alpha and I loved it.

My beast growled inside me and I let my lips touched her skin.

The familiar spark igniter through our connected skin and she tried to step away but I held her close.

“ Don't move.” I said a deep clear tone. I was addicted to her lavender scent.

I lifted my hand and slide it around her waist making her gasp in shock.

“ Tia.” I whispered her name.

I loved every fucking thing about her including her fake hair.

I closed my eyes she inhaled her scent deeply while caressing her waist with my thumb.

“ You are fucking beautiful.” I said, kissing her neck and letting my lips linger there for more than it should.

Suddenly a loud knock came on the door.” Tia, are you there?” Hearing this Tia pulled away in an instant.

Sharon's scent filled the air. Vito might have told her about the two wolves spotted around this area.

The desaration in her to e shows how scared she was for her daughter and I was touched.

Tia's face flashed red and her eyes glowing like someone who actually have a wolf!

“ Tia, are you okay? It's mom. Open thr door “ she snapped out of it, breaking out eyes contact and rushed to get the door.

I caged both my hands in my pocket.

Before opening the door she turned to look at me, her eyes still glowing white.

What was she?

“ Thank Goodness, Tia.” Sharon signed in relief as soon as the door opened, puling her daughter into her arms.

She stiffened her and looked up at me.

My scent was all over her.

She didn't look please. Perhaps seeing me in her daughter's room or worse smelling me on her.

“ Alpha Orion?” She whispered looking in my direction with a frown in her eyes.

“ He found me and brought me back.” Tia immediately explained and Sharon turned her gaze back on her daughter.

“ Tia, you can't stay here.” Sharon said and my eyes turned cold.
