Fourteen

Tia's POV

Finally it was weekend and I was in the pack hospital with beta Vincent.

He mentioned something about the doctor looking into my blood to see what was wrong or blocking me from shifting.

He mentioned something about me having a wolf which I didn't if it was true.

My senses were clear. The only thing was I couldn't shift.

Could it be that I was wolfless?

That was what I have been afraid of. Being wolfless.

I let out a shaky breath to calm myself.

“ How long are we suppose to wait?” I asked and he shrugged. His phone suddenly range and he stepped out, leaving me in the room.

“ Hello, Tia.” Zack walked in with a smile,a nurse following behind him.

“ How are you?” He asked with a friendly smile and I nodded.

“ Any weekend party?” He asked again as he picked something from tbr tray in the nurse's grip.

“ This will hurt a little.” He said as he took my arm and cleaned a small potion gently with wet cotton.

He then took a syringe from the tray after putting the cotton back.” Any plans for the weekend?” He asked, lifting his head to look at me briefly.

“ Not really.” I replied and he nodded.

He pushed the syringe into my skin. I hissed slightly.

A brief silent emerged between us.

“ If you like you can come with me for a little drink.” He proposes and before I would reply Vincent walked in.

Zack pulled out the syringe filled with my blood and attached a cotton to my skin where the syringe has pierced.

“ Thanks but I will pass.” I held onto the cotton, giving him the chance to let go.

“ I will give you time to think about it. Don't be in a hurry to reply me.” He smiled, taking off his gloves.

“ You can leave. It's done.” He shoved both his hands in his pocket and turned his gaze to Vincent.

“ Are you okay?” Vincent stepped in front of me with his huge figure.

“ Don't worry, beta Vincent. Your Luna will be okay.” Zack said sarcastically with a smile as he stretched his hand to take a small bottle from the nurse's tray and shoved it to Vincent.

“ This will help with the swallen.” There was a moment of pause.

Vincent read the writing on the bottle before turning to look at me as if accessing whether I was indeed okay.

“ I will take you home.” He said and I got out of the chair.

“ I hope to hear from you.” I nodded with a small smile before following Vincent out.

The drive back was silent.

I noticed the path we were taking wasn't the way to the main pack house.

“ Beta Vincent.”

“ Vincent.” He said in a low tone and I turned to look at him for a few seconds.

“ When can I go home?” I asked as the car took a slight turn to the left, taking an unfamiliar road.

“ Only Orion can answer your questions.” He replied and I let out a sign.

I missed my family a lot and I didn't know how long I could hold on.

“ You fo t like leaving in the pack house, do you?” Vince t asked and I nodfed.

It's a great place but not for me. It's boring as hell.” I whispered the last part and Vincent laughed.

“ So you are bored?” He asked turning his gaze to me briefly and I nodded.

“ The full moon isn't over. Orion is waiting for you to shift.” He said and turned my gaze to tbr winfow.

“ I don't know if he will let you go.” He added in a small tone and I heard him loud and clear.

Did that mean I would be banish once I could t shift?

The car halted after a few minutes and he asked me to wait for him in the car.

I heard him shift, his low growl echoed in the air before it completely died down.

I sat in the car in middle of nowhere.

I was t sure where we were but I knew we were still in the pack lands. Somewhere far from the inhabitants.

Vincent returned after a short while with a brown envelope in his hand.

“ Did I keep you waiting?” I shook my head as he sat in the driving seat and shoved the envelop on my lap.

“ What is this?” I asked holding the envelop with my two hands on my lap.

“ It's a message for the alpha.” He simply said, starting the car.

I wondered what was inside but I didn't dare open it.

Orion would have my head.

Would he?

He looked scary at first but now something inside me was begining to warm up yo him which strange.

The car finally halted in front of the main pack house.

The home for the past few days.

“ Orion will come for it.” He said, referring to the envelope in my hand.

“ But…” I didn't finish what I had to say when tbr rain started.

I ran into the building without waiting.

I heard Vincent laughing from behind me as I ran for safety.

I growled as I got I to my room.

It was clean and cozy but didn't feel homely.

I missed my mom, my dad.

Living here for the past few days havent been easy.

I sat on my bed with the envelope in my hand.

Something insidee wanted it opened but I held my thought together and place it on the small table.

I pulled out my phone and called my mom.

“ Tia, are you okay?” That was her first question and I felt like shedding tears.

I have missed her like crazy that hearing her voice made my chest tightened.

How long was I going to live here?

“ I'm fine, mom.” I forced myself to say.

“ Are you sure, Tia?”

“ Where is dad?” I asked to divert her attention.

“ He is on petrol and will be back tonight.” She signed.

“ How is your new job going?” I asked her and she laughed.

“ I will start on Monday and I will pick you up on my way.” I nodded with a smile.

“ That means I will be seeing you often?” I asked in excitement.

“ Yes.” I could tell how happy mom was.

She submitted an application to Central high a days ago and it seems she has been hired.

A knock came on the door and immediately sensed him. The familiar scent of after rain.

Orion.

“ Mom I will call you back.” I hunged up the call and the door bust open.

He was shirtless meaning he came here in wolf form.

His pack was different from other packs that have humans around.

living among wolves.

Shifting in broadday light wasn't dangerous since it was a typical wolf pack.

“ Ahh, sorry.” I peeled my gaze off his chest and immediately picked the envelop on the table.

“ This is it.” I stretched my hand and he looked down at the envelope.

“ Vincent said you will come for it.” I explained.

He dragged his eyes to my face.

“ He did.” He wasn't asking.

Something shifted in his eyes. A flicker of something I didn't recognize.

Something warm enough to make my stomach flatter and my throat go dry.

“ I'm not hear for this.” He said, stepping closer while I took a step back.

“ You don't feel anything for me?” He asked. His question sending a chill wave through my veins.

My unweaving gaze fixed on him.

“ Orion…” I didn't know what I was going to say but he suddenly grabbed my face with force and slammed his lips against mine.

I struggled at first but eventually gave in.

Something about him touching me felt right and my body seemed to recognize his touch even though he hadn't touched me before.

“ Mine!” He growled, his mouth devoring mine in a way that felt wrong but right at the same time.

His hand worked around my body as they ran down to my hip and it felt so good.

I have never been touched like this in my life. It was the first time and the wave of emotion that pilled inside me made me feel like exploding.

In-between my legs went wet and my knee grow weak.

“ You are mine, Tia.” He finally pulled back and I slowly opened my eyes.

My breath pouring out as I looked back ito his red alpha grey eyes.

Beautiful.

He was beautiful. Something worlth watching.

I licked the corner of my lips.

His eyes burned into mine. His chest pressed against mine and his hands seated around my hip.
