[10.1] Ally

Ally's POV

The THUMPING.

Dear lord, what in the heck was that awful tapping? My ears were ringing and I had a bulging headache, the darkness around me slowly lifting as I slowly opened my eyelids for a second. They shut closed after a few seconds now hearing a faint voice accompanied by the strange annoying tap, and yet my body refused to move.

Sleep paralysis, god, I hated the demon.

tried in vain to move again, this time forcing my eyelids open, still listening to the tap that began sounding more like a thump.

Thump, thump, thump.

I suddenly got the chills as light filled my eyes, the faint whisper much louder than it had been.

Wake up. Someone was saying. Open your eyes Ally.

I know that voice. Damn right, I knew that voice. My vision cleared slowly, the blurry face above me revealing itself.
