Lilah

She looks at me with those dark eyes of hers. Her jaws hangs open as she tries to make sense of my words.

Her head slowly moves up and down but her eyes become full of tears. “I lost my pup for you.”

“I know.” I immediately felt guilty. I had been blaming her for everything when all along she had done what she could to protect me and that meant sacrificing her pup. I had been so stupid.

“And why did the Moon goddess show herself to me? I’m no one.” She mutters quietly.

“You are still half wolf. Who do witches pray to?” It wasn’t something I ever thought about

“The horned God. That’s what grandma said.” She mutters as she looks at her hand. “Did she bind us? Was the Moon Goddess responsible for tying us together?”

“I don’t know.”

“Lilah, I don’t understand.”

“You’re not the only one. What does it all mean? Why are we bound by blood?”

“I think we were always supposed to be. I mean we share the same father. You and I are half sisters. It can't be anything else.”

I think Callie needs to go and find herself a second chance mate maybe Grant cause if she is going to start acting like that over the sisters bond that’s dumb in her part. Can’t wait to see how this magic will play out for Daphne.
