Unwanted visitors

Judging by all of Colette’s excitement in the build up to Christmas, except for me going missing, isn’t it meant to be a joyous event? Now correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Christmas Day meant to be about the sweet laughter of your friends and family, not the roaring commotion that has woken me up! I pull my phone out from my handbag to see the time is 8.23am. My phone needs charging and I reach to the bedside table to grab the cable. Once my phone is plugged in I see missed calls from a number already programmed into my phone…Alpha Rory. Typical alphas, he couldn’t even just put Rory, I chuckle to myself. Oops, twenty missed calls wasn’t a good sign. I hear Colette’s raised voice downstairs and decide to jump out of bed to see if she needs my help. I race down the stairs peeking into the front room to see Colette, Mav, Axel, Tucker, Blake and Lance glaring at Rory and Rafe who seem to have made themselves at home.

“Look we just want to make sure she is okay!” Rafe
