Chapter Nine

My mother explained that her parents were both werewolves of a pack that doesn't exist anymore. There was a war between the rogues and her pack when she was a teenager, causing her and my grandparents to flee and live as rogues themselves. She actually never found her mate, and she just assumed he had died in the war which would explain how she survived on her own. She met my father, who she told the truth and he loved her just the same. My older brother knew about this, but since I had never talked about wolves or shifting or anything like that, they decided it wouldn't benefit me to not know, which I could understand.

I just turned 18 and found my mate, so it only makes sense that my werewolf side has made itself known now, but they aren't sure if I will shift. My parents were suprisingly easy to talk to, and understanding to the whole situation.
