Epilogue

10 Years Later

“Ready to go, Riley?” my father said. He looked into my eyes, as the smile on his face grew three sizes. I nodded slightly, not trusting my voice. I squeezed my eyes shut tightly and sucked in a deep breathe. The doors opened slowly and let me breathe out and opened my eyes. I looked around, seeing all the guests that lined the seats in the familiar garden.     

“You look like an angel,” my dad whispered, leaning over to kiss my forehead. The calm feeling that he gave me rushed through my entire body as the soft music began to play. He gave me one of his award-winning smiles, and I could not help but smile back. When I turned away from him, there he was.
