Chapter 24

Alpha Wymond sat on his throne, his head bent low while his brother was seated on one of the cabinet seats.

They were both baffled and haunted.

"Hayden, what do you think we should do? This is getting more intense than I thought." He voiced out, after sighing deeply.

Alpha Hayden lifted his head. "You mean about the arrow shot right?"

His brother nodded.

"I just lost one of my guards, and I don't think taking it lightly should be an option. Even that guard means a lot to me." He clenched his fist staring at the floor.

Alpha Hayden swallowed bitterly. "Whoever that's behind this isn't just after Ophelia, but the throne too. But you don't have tp give up on this fight."

"Do I look like someone that will do that? I'll surely come to the end of this." Alpha Wymond reassured.

After some minutes of staying without saying a word to each other, Ares walked in to deliver the report of the message he got.

"The fletcher corpse vanished before I reached there." He announced.
