Ava POV

Dawson was right, I can't be labeled as weak. After agreeing to train and become a master at fighting , Dawson assigned me to a new guard named Liam. I was taken into an underground training center where I was told the basics of becoming a fighter, it was now a week since I started a new life, I hardly saw Derek and I got to know from Liam that he was avoiding the mansion not to distract me and Damian was out of the country for a mission. Dawson was only in the mansion because of me and I was really greatful about that or else I won't even be able to cope.

My weekend was going perfectly, I was trying to forget about all that happened to me, I couldn't find a place in my heart to forgive Damian or trust Derek but Dawson always seemed to be different from his other brothers and with that alone I was able to confidently stay around him and he also seemed to not he interested in me which always made me be at ease.
