Freya’s POV

“No… no, no, no!”

Sebastian knelt beside Amelia, his hands pressing against her neck, searching for a pulse. My heart slammed against my ribs as I watched him, my breath coming in short, panicked gasps.

She wasn’t dead. She couldn’t be dead. I couldn't have killed my sister.

I hadn’t even pushed her that hard, it was just a little shove.

Sebastian’s shoulders were rigid, his jaw clenched so tight I thought it might snap. Then, after what felt like an eternity, he turned to me.

His eyes were filled with pure, unfiltered rage.

“You stupid fucking bitch. You killed her!” He yelled.

"No."  I shook my head.

"She’s dead,” he said, his voice like ice. "What the fuck do you mean no?"

My stomach dropped.

“Please No.” I shook my head violently. “No, she’s not! She—she just hit her head! Please Call an ambulance! Maybe she—”

“She’s dead, Freya!” Sebastian roared, rising to his feet. “You killed her! You killed your own blood sister.”

I flinched.

Killed.

The word sliced through me, leaving me cold and numb.

I killed Amelia?

No, I couldn't have.

I took a shaky step forward, my hands trembling. “Sebastian, please… I didn’t mean to. I—I just pushed her, I wasn’t thinking! She said—” My voice cracked. “I was angry! But I didn’t mean—”

“Oh, spare me your excuses!” he snapped, his face twisted with disgust. “You killed your own sister out of jealousy!”

Jealousy. Is that what he called it?

A choked sob escaped my lips.

“Please, i beg you, I wasn’t—” I swallowed, my throat burning. “I never wanted this, Sebastian! I swear!”

His hands curled into fists. “You were always jealous that you were second to Amelia, weren’t you? Always the one in her shadow. And when she took something from you, you couldn’t handle it. So, you killed her.”

Why was he saying this? I and Amelia had our issues but I was never jealous.

"You wanted her dead" He continued.

“That’s not true!” I pleaded. “I loved her! I never wanted. It was a mistake—” My words crumbled into a sob.

Sebastian’s eyes darkened. “I’m calling the police.”

I froze.

My husband was calling the police on me?

Did this mean i was going to Jail?

The image crashed into my mind—cold steel bars, a tiny cell, my baby growing inside me behind prison walls.

And then Being ripped from my arms and given to Sebastian when it was born.

My miracle baby would be given to the man who betrayed me. Because who let you keep a baby in prison?

A fresh wave of terror surged through me.

Please God No.

If Sebastian found out I was pregnant now, he would definitely take my child and let me rot in a cell for the rest of my life.

I couldn’t let that happen.

I most definitely wouldn’t let that happen.

I had to think and find a way to survive.

“Sebastian, please,” I begged, stepping closer. “Don’t do this. Please, let me explain—”

The front door burst open.

I spun around, my heart hammering as three large men suddenly stormed inside from no where.

They were huge—broad shoulders, dark suits, and an air of authority that made my stomach twist.

Where they the Cops?

Sebastian must have already called them.

One of the men, the largest of the three, grabbed my arm in a firm, unyielding grip.

“You need to come with us now to pay for your crimes,” he snarled in a menacing tone.

Panic instantly shot through me.

“No! Please Let me go! Let me explain.” I twisted in his grip, but he barely flinched.

The other two men stepped forward and grabbed me too.

“Don’t fight,” the first man ordered but I ignored him.

I struggled, kicked and clawed at their hands. “I didn’t mean to hurt her! It was an accident!”

But they didn’t care.

“Sebastian please!” I screamed, reaching for him, begging for him to save me

He didn’t. He didn't fucking care.

He took a step back, his expression cold and distant.

Then he shoved me away like I was disgusting garbage.

I stumbled, nearly falling as my chest heaved with the pain.

“You deserve this, you jealous, heartless slut.” he said. “You deserve far worse than this.”

A strangled cry tore from my throat as the men forcefully dragged me toward the door.

This man i thought loved me actually hated me.

He truly hated me in a way I didn't even understand.

“That’s enough!” a new voice suddenly thundered through the chaos and everything stopped.

I turned my head—

And my entire body froze.

The man standing at the entrance wasn’t like the others.

He was tall, towering over the rest, with dark, wavy hair that framed a face so handsome it didn’t seem real.

But it wasn’t his looks that made my breath catch.

It was his presence.

A raw, overpowering dominance radiated off him, pressing into me like a physical force.

His eyes locked onto mine then without hesitation, he stepped forward and yanked my wrist so hard that I screamed.

Then out of no where, a sudden, searing heat shot up my arm and it was so painful that it stole my breath away and my entire body froze in place.

I tried to scream but nothing came out.

What the hell was happening to me?

“Calm down,” he commanded in a deep voice that felt .. inhuman.

I tried to fight but my body slumped down before I even realized what I was doing.

But then something weird happened.

His eyes changed color!

A blood red colour flashed in his irises. It only glowed brightly for just a second but it was enough to turn my blood turned to ice.

These men were not cops at all. I wasn’t even sure if they were human at all!

“No,” I breathed as new fear shot strength back into me. I twisted in his grip and somehow managed to break free.

I lunged toward Sebastian for help one last time but He didn’t reach for me.

Didn’t even flinch.

Didn’t even care.

And before I could react, the man with red eyes grabbed me and covered my nose with a strange and suffocating piece of cloth.

“Put me down!” I thrashed against him.

But his hold tightened then he growled. “You’re coming with me you filthy Omega.”

What? I thought. What was an Omega?

But before I could process the thought, my vision blurred and the world spun.

Everything became too much and I felt myself begin to lose consciousness.

But the, the last thing I saw before the darkness closed in—

Was Amelia.

I looked up and saw my supposedly dead sister standing at the top of the staircase. She was very alive and she was watching me with a slow, eerie smile curled across her lips.

She was Alive? How?!

I gasped and reached out—

But then everything went black.

  • Freya's Revenge Mates   What have I done?

Freya’s POV I couldn’t focus on anything else while I waited for him to return. Because there was no way the husband I had faithfully loved and given my everything to-- had just announced his engagement to my older sister like I didn’t exist. But maybe I should have seen this coming. After all, Sebastian has always been EXTREMELY private about our marriage. He always refused to take me to public events and always brushed off rumors when people speculated that he might be married. “It’s for your protection,” he’d always said. “I don’t want the media dragging you into my harsh business world.” Had all that been a lie? Had he been hiding me for years so he could announce his affair with my sister? I gripped my stomach as my knuckles turned white with fear. No. No, there had to be another explanation. Sebastian could not be that cruel—he wouldn’t just erase our marriage and embarrass me in front of the entire world. This had to be a publicity stunt or something else. Maybe th
