Chapter 57

Easton’s POV

My mate is gorgeous, and I can already tell that she’s very strong. She didn’t even flinch when Miranda confronted me. It was almost like she had expected it. I had been very worried the moment I heard Miranda try to confront us, but my mate seems unfazed. I have to wonder what Miranda has up her sleeve for her to remain so calm right now.

I let my eyes run over my mate again. She was too thin, but I had heard a little about what she had gone through at Stone Fall.

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   Escaped

Chapter 85Eva’s POV I already knew what he was here to say, but I kept my face neutral. I wasn’t going to let my secret slip just yet. I trusted Easton’s parents and his sister. I was even starting to trust Easton a little too, but the rest of this pack. No, I don't trust them at all. I’m withholding judgment until all the information is in. “Alpha, while I was gone to go get their lunch, someone released Ashley and Miranda from the cells. They're gone, and the other warrior who had stayed behind was knocked out. I took both him and Gray to the pack hospital. Gray had been knocked out as well. His cell had been unlocked, and he was lying on the floor. I put out an alert for the she-wolves, but the trackers can't sense them in the pack. They used a masking scent to get away. None of the patrols have managed to locate them. I saw tires tracks near the entrance to the cells. It looks like someone parked there and helped them escape,” the warrior’s panicked voice carried throughout

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   Proud of my Mate

Chapter 84Easton’s POV Eva means business. I just don’t want Miranda to get a lucky hit in on my mate; she's been put through enough. I won’t let her suffer anymore. Especially not because of a situation I created. I felt sick as we headed back to the pack house. I was consumed with guilt for not waiting for my mate like my mother asked me to do. I had no excuse other than I let the wrong people have my ear. Miranda always downplayed it, behaving as if it were my right as an Alpha to take advantage of what was being offered to me. I can’t believe that I fell for her act this whole time. My eyes have truly been opened in the last few days. She was nothing like I thought she was. I really dodged a bullet there. I know for a fact that I would have been miserable for the rest of my life if I had been forced to be with Miranda. She is nothing at all like Eva. Eva is strong and direct. She doesn’t play games or pretend to be a good person. She actually is a good person, and that’s

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   See You Soon

Chapter 83Eva’s POV I felt it when doubt started to creep in for Miranda. She was worried now and wanted to back out of the entire thing. I was glad that Easton didn’t agree to it. He told her it was going to happen, no matter what she did. My smile grew larger as I felt her eyes return to me. Miranda and Ashley both thought I was weak, a social climber, and had lied about Easton being my mate. I was glad that Luna Ashlynn had added these additional Luna clauses to protect me here at Shadow Claw. She had mentioned them to my mother earlier when I was in the shower. I heard them talking about them as I was getting dressed. I was glad that they did that for me. It was clear that Luna Ashlynn thought something like this would happen. She wanted me to be prepared just in case I was approached; she already knew it was highly likely to occur. Luna Ashlynn already knew that I was able to protect myself. “I'm sorry, but I haven’t agreed to any part of it,” Ashley insisted. "It

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   Easton Will Be Mine

Chapter 82Miranda’s POV “I won’t be the one losing, bitch. Just because your mother spelled Alpha Easton to think you’re his mate doesn’t make it true. Hell, Ashley did it to Gray this entire time. You’re nothing special, Eva. I want you to know that once I end you, Easton will be forced to mark me. I’m going to insist that it happen at the sparring circle, right before you draw your last breath,” I taunted. Eva didn’t even bat an eye. Her demeanor was calm and unbothered. I felt like I was punching a pillow. My comment should have driven her over the edge. No one wants to imagine their mate being marked by another. So why isn’t she screaming, or arguing with me? She should be losing her mind over what I just said. I want Eva to get pissed off. She would lose focus in the fight if all she was thinking about was losing Easton. I felt her aura last night. She has a strong wolf. I suspected that she was toying with me, but I was toying with her too. I knew that she would never

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   I Accept

Chapter 81Easton’s POV I came down to the cells several minutes ago. I heard their argument play out. I arrived less than two minutes after Brenda, because she fought the warriors the entire way over here. I had already been heading this way, as Gray had asked me to come over and see him after he arrived. I needed a distraction because being around Eva was hard. I wanted to pull her in my arms. I wanted to hold her, kiss her, and comfort her. I also wanted to tell her that I would never betray her, not after finally meeting her. But I was terrified that if I brought that up, I would end up driving her away. Her first day here had already been ruined because of jealous, petty she-wolves. I didn’t want to push her any further, not after the welcome she had received. I was glad I'd come to the cells now. I had audio and video installed. I wasn’t going to give Ashley or Miranda any opportunity to avoid the charges against them. That was something I’d called about last night, right

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   I Won't Forget This

Chapter 80Brenda’s POV I threatened the warriors all the way to the cells. They refused to let me go and kept ignoring everything I said. By the time we got to the cells, I was absolutely furious. How did this fucking happen? This was ridiculous. I was shoved into a cell by the warriors, and the door slammed shut behind me. I brushed my hair back out of my face and glared at them as they stood in the hallway outside my cell. “I won’t be forgetting this. I’m going to make sure that the High Council hears about what you’ve done,” I ground out. “Brenda? What the hell are you doing down here?” Miranda’s voice rang out from the cell next to mine. “Miranda, you assured me and Shawna that Easton’s mate was weak. That was the last we heard after you instructed us to give her a hard time. But you lied; she isn’t weak. She killed Shawna and her parents in cold blood, over nothing. You told us you were going to be the next Luna, so why are you in the cells? Were you lying to us this

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   You Need to Find Her

Chapter 4Alpha Dominic’s POV Something was seriously wrong. I had slept badly last night. This morning had started out fine for the first hour. After that, I could sense that Eva was gone. I always get up early, as my work never ends. So when I realized she was missing, I called my Beta, Dougla

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   We Need To Know

Chapter 3Eva’s POV I was woken up by the sunlight pouring in through the window of the room I shared with three other omegas. I was on the bottom bunk, as I was the lowest-ranked Omega in this room. So I received the worst bunk. The sun always woke me up every single morning. The other side

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   It's All Your Fault

Chapter 2Eva’s POV “I hope that Alpha Patrick levels this pack for what you’re doing to his children. How could you attack someone who wasn’t even on your packland? Did any of you think this through? Or did you think that they would be too scared to go against you? Their pack is twice the size

  • From Rebirth, to Revenge   I Hope You Suffer

Chapter 1Eva's POV I darted through the woods, moving between the trees while I tried to push down my fear. I knew that I wasn’t alone out here. Despite having no training, I knew that for sure. I had braided and covered my hair so I could try to stay hidden. I had to cover it; my hair was s
