Amelia's POV
"You look horrible," I pointed out amused, looking at his limp body, his eyes were closed and hair gone from the treatment that hasn't been working. The sounds of the machine beeping gave me hope and at the same time brought me despair.

I used my body to close the door as Ace continued to run his hands across my stumble, small giggles leaving him. Amelia left work earlier today after falling ill before a meeting, which worried me since she didn't really do well with illness.
