Chapter Forty One

I kicked and struggled, but the arms that grabbed me and dragged me further were really strong arms, and when I realized that struggling only made his grip tighter, causing my bones to hurt, I decided to just let him lead me instead.

After all, what use are my kicks and struggles? I have no idea where I am, or how far we have gone into the dungeon, so if they would just kill me like a chicken, I better not waste my strength fighting it.

A horrid thought flashed through my head: what if this is not the place I showed the cab man? My whole body shivered in fear, and he knew that where he had taken me was very dangerous, that is why he did not spare a second before driving off in mad speed.

The laughter and banters I was hearing had stopped, and a pounding headache sprang up in its place.

He opened a door and shoved me inside. I fell, but was lucky enough not to have hit my head on any hard object. He picked me up again and placed me on a chair before removing the mask they used in cover
