Logan’s POV

“Why isn’t Ethan picking his damn phone?!” I muttered in exasperation and I continued to dial his number and pace around the living room.

Leah just sat on the couch and stared.

Ethan has been gone for some days now without telling me where he was going, which is unlike him, and very upsetting.

“You need to relax, I am sure Ethan will soon be here,” Leah said to me.

Then something clicked in my head. “Hold on, did he tell you where he was going?” I asked Leah and she looked away, a sheepish grin playing on her lips.

Damn these folks, they are indeed playing a fast one on me.

I heard the door creak open, and I turned immediately to scold Ethan, knowing he would be the one entering the house, but everything in me went still at who I saw beside Ethan.

Leah and Ethan immediately went upstairs, leaving us alone. Seeing Alice after the betrayal is shocking, but nothing prepared me for the sight that beheld me; her stomach bump.
