Chapter One- Hundred & Ninety Seven

Logan’s POV

I woke up feeling like shit.

“Took way longer than I expected,” Ethan said.

I recognized his voice immediately, and I turned to him. “Ethan,” I muttered.

“Do you feel any better?” Ethan asked.

“No, but I would like to have a mirror. I know I look a mess already,” I said and ground my teeth.

“There is no way I am letting you get close to a mirror right now until you are completely on your feet,” Ethan said.

“Aside feeling like shit, I don’t feel much pains,” I said as I stretched my body on the bed.

“The doctor has confirmed that you will be fine. There are no broken bones, and that is why you are not wrapped up in bandages,” Ethan said, chuckling.

I groaned. “I detest bandages.” I said, and then looked at Ethan worriedly, “Where is Leah?” I asked.

“Relax, man, she only went to her room to get a nap. She has been up by your side ever since the accident, and she hasn’t slept a wink.

I had to literally force her to go and rest her head. You gave us all a scare, Logan,” Ethan
