Chapter 35

When Adele reached the south end of the forest, she saw her friend’s car parked at the edge of the cliff. She ran towards the car and sat next to the driver’s door. She looked around once to make sure that she was not being followed.

Once she was sure that no other wolf was nearby, then she knocked on the door five times. Just as they had discussed earlier to let her friend know that it’s her and not any other wolf. Nora did not get out of the car and rolled down the window to take a peek outside.

“Oh! You are here! I was so worried that you got caught again.” She said to the wolf.

Adele nodded her head and signaled with her head to open the back door.

Once Adele climbed into the car, Nora pointed at the seat next to her and said, “I kept the clothes under the seat; Usual place."
