Atacia's POV:
H-how did that get there?!
I looked at Cassie. She was shocked by what she saw. I immediately pulled her away from that place.
“A-Atacia, please tell me that wasn’t true. Please tell me I’m just dreaming.” Terrified Cas said.
S**t! I need to talk to Ms. Anthea later!
“C-Cia, w-why is there a corpse there? W-what exactly is this place? I-I thought it’s safe here.” Cassie stuttered. Her breath is shaking, so is her body.
“Let’s go to the dorm first.” That’s all I said. F**k it! Why are the corpses in there?! Why did they put the corpses there?!
Cassie just followed me even though she was wondering, she’s spacing out.
When we opened the door of our dorm, we were so shocked.
In this room there are four doors. We peaked into one of the rooms and were even more surprised to see that there were things there. Used by men! Shoot! So that means there are four people who’s going to use this dorm?! Why didn’t Ms. Anthea tell us?! Why the heck didn't she warn us?!
I just dragged Cassie into a room that I’m sure I’m the owner because I saw my suitcase there. When we entered, I immediately locked the door and looked back at her.
“Cia, what is this place? My minds in a mess. Earlier, when I came out, I saw someone fighting using a sword. A real freakin’ sword Cia! Then—then I saw a corpse. And why is it forbidden to go out?! Atacia I’m confused. I—we entered here because it’s safe but what the heck is happening?!” Cassie said in panic.
“Cassie calm down! I’ll explain if you calm down.” I told her.
It took us an hour before she calmed down. But her breath isn't. So is the shaking of her body.
“Now I am calm, explain everything to me. Please.” Cassie said seriously.
I looked at her first. She fought with a stare, so I gave up myself. I averted my eyes and explained.
“Heather Academy is a dangerous academy. This is where fighters and charmers go. Only a few knew this school and only a few could get in. Only the persons who have skills and can fight. And those who have what they call charms. Charms are like a magical power. Didn’t you say you saw someone fighting? That’s training. Heather Academy has wars happening every night. And when the so-called KING wanted to, he will make the war last for the whole day. It’s forbidden to go out because we need to keep the normans safe from us charmers. Now, I need you to protect yourself.” I gave her a long explanation.
It took her a lot of time before she digested it inside her mind. And when she looked at me, pain and fear are written all over her eyes.
“So, you knew all about this? And you are telling me to protect myself? How can I?! Atacia are you out of your mind?!” She said tearfully.
“You can’t fool me, Cassie. I know you can protect yourself. We may be childhood best friends, but there’s still a lot of things you don’t know about me. Our parents sent us here for a reason. We entered here because of the same reason. And I know you know what I’m talking about. I know who you are inside the Hell Cell. NAd I also know you have charms.” I had a sad statement with her.
“Then tell me! What do I not know about you, huh?! Explain it to me!” She shouted at me while crying. But I could still read the shock in her eyes because of what I said about who she is inside Hell Cell and about her charms.
I immediately approached and comforted her. After a few minutes, she stopped crying. I sighed before standing up.
“If you really want to know me, follow me then.” I said coldly. I know she was confused on how I treated her. I never treated her coldly. She never seen me like this. Cold and emotionless. She was used to me being jolly, happy and a joking person.
I walked to the bedroom door. I went out and she followed me. It’s a good thing we don’t have anyone here yet, so we don’t have to worry.
I approached a bookshelf and looked closely at the books lying there. There was a book that caught my attention. It is very thick, about the thickness of a dictionary and the cover is red. I grabbed it and pulled. And I was right in my suspicion. This will open the tunnel to the private training room of ours. I turned on the light and walked down the stairs. I turned to Cassie and saw that she was stunned.
“Are you coming, or should I leave you there?” I asked coldly. Her eyes widened, she finally came back to her senses and quickly followed me.
We walked down the stairs. When we reached the end there was a door again and it has a lock. A keypad lock. There's a number engraved at the wall above it. If you won't look closely, you won't notice it. I typed in the password and opened it.
When I opened the door, I quickly pulled Cassie and made her lie down while I caught the katana that was thrown in our direction.
I threw it in the air and held it upside down. The one I used to hold was the blade, now it’s its handle.
Cassie stood up with a shocked face. But eventually became emotionless. Her eyes became cold. She became serious.
I first rolled the katana in my hand and then looked at who had thrown it. Two men were present. One of them has his hair dyed in red and the other one in ash gray. That ash gray hair seems to be familiar to me. And then a memory suddenly flashed in my mind. To my annoyance I threw it at him. Well, not directly to him. Just on the wall above his head. He was surprised and stunned at what I did.
F**k! He’s the one I bumped into at the Hospital! The one who didn’t apologize! why the heck, of all places, I'll see him again here?!
“S**t!” Suddenly the red-haired man shouted. When I looked at him, he was running towards the side of the other guy. I looked at why and wasn’t surprised by the dagger stuck in the place where he was standing a while ago. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Cassie is the one who threw it.
“Who the hell are you?” The guy who owns the ash gray hair asked.
His question made me smirk.
“I’m your Death.” I said. We all looked at each other seriously. No one's blinking. We we're shooting daggers at each other with our looks. Everyone's so quiet. But my look stayed on the other guy.
D**n this guy.
Julia’s POV: I kept laughing every time I remember Aleah's reaction. I'm actually with my former team and the other royalties. "If you don't stop, I swear I'll strangle you." Annoyed Aleah said and glared at me. "Come on Juls stop teasing her." Atacia laughed at me. "Can you blame me? It really is funny! If only you saw her reaction when my cousin whispered behind her." Still laughing I said. "Okay that's it." She said and suddenly stood up. I immediately backed away while still laughing. But she suddenly stopped when our special guest arrived. "Hello everyone. I'm sorry I'm late." His deep voice echoed in our now silent room. All the women were amazed at how handsome this cousin of mine was. "Guys! I want you to meet, Elliot Evangelista. My cousin." I said and shouldered Kuya Elliot. He smiled at me and kissed the side of my h
Aleah’s POV: "Tita Ale! Tita Ale!" The twins called me while jumping. I laughed at their hyper personality. I don't even know who they inherited that from. "What is it kiddo?" I asked. "Can we buy an ice cream?" Tiacia said with matching puppy eyes. "Please? Tita Ale?" Draco added. "But your mom said you can't eat ice cream for now. You guys are so hyper." I said and laughed. "Cia! Your kids want to buy an ice cream!" I called out for Cia. "No! If you do that, then they’ll be more hyper." She said and peeked in our room. "Mommy please!!! Just this once!" Draco said. They insisted. "Fine fine. Just this once, okay?" She said. The two kids immediately nodded. "Fine. You can go." She said that made the kids scream in victory. They immediately pulled me awa
Dear Heatherians, Congratulations! You've reached the end of the Heather Academy! I want to thank you all for being with me during my journey in writing Heather Academy: School of Fighters. Thank you for giving me inspirations and giving me thousands of reasons to continue writing. The truth is, when I started writing my first story, which is this story, I always doubt myself. And always question myself. Can I do this? Can I meet the reader's expectations? Can I get their attention? Will anyone support me? Will I still bleed or should just stop writing? But then I realized, with or without readers, I should keep on bleeding. I should keep on writing. Because I'm not writing to impress. I'm writing to express. It doesn't matter if I do not reach the reader's expectation, instead, expect the unexpected.
Atacia’s POV: "Hey! Give me that! I touched it first so it's mine!" "No this is mine! You lost it and I found it. Now it's mine." "Mommy! Tiacia is taking my toys!" "No, I'm not! Mom he lost it and then I found it. It's founders keepers Draco." I chuckled when I heard them fighting again over a toy. "Now now settle down kids. Don't fight it's just a toy." I said as I entered their playroom while carrying a tray full of cookies and two glasses of milk. "But Mom that's my favorite toy!" Draco whined. "Tiacia, you heard Draco. It's his favorite toy. Give it back." I calmly said and put the tray on the table between them. "But Mom I like it! Plus, he lost it and I found it." Tiacia answered, hugging the teddy bear tightly. "Then why don't you just share it?"
Third Person's POV: "Atacia!" Simultaneous shouts of those who saw. The Dark Knights suddenly disappeared. The students, teacher, all Heatherians ran closer to the ravine. They peeked at it but saw nothing but a black water flowing hard. This is what they call the river of the black. "Look!" A student shouted while pointing at the Phoenix who's flying towards their direction. She landed right in front of them and gently landed Atacia. Her head was about to hit a stone luckily the Phoenix caught her on time using its beak, she pulled Atacia up. Aleah would have approached it, but Phoenix blocked and gave them a bad look. Everyone was scared and grabbed their weapon in case Phoenix attacked them. "It's okay. She's just protecting her summoner." Queen Helia said and stepped forward. The Phoenix, also glared at her as if she didn't care if she knew the Queen. "Nix, it's me. Helia.
Third Person’s POV: "I am going to kill you, Atacia Montreal." The sky went dark, the trees and grass dried, and a cold wind blew, sending shivers down to their spines as they watch the Queen summon something. Something dangerous, something scary, something deadly and venomous. "I-It's ..." Zephyra couldn't finish her sentence because of the fear that is building up inside her. "No way." Both Akira and Terren said. "This can't be happening." Said by Adrian. "This is dangerous." Kayda said and held tight to her sword. "What the hell?" Julia said before looking at her other teammates. Fear can be read in their faces. "The Black Snake." Drake and Liam said. Stood in front of them all, is the darkest creature of the Charm World, summoned by the Black Queen, the Black Snake. The soun
