Chapter Thirty Three

As I approached him, I could feel my heart hammering painfully against my ribs. I clenched the clothe above my chest and took in a deep breath. Be still my heart.
Reece finally noticed me when I stopped some feet away from me. He seemed even more nervous than I did, " I was starting to think you wouldn't show up" he said and smiled a little. I sighed, "What did you want to show me?" I went straight to the point. He dropped the small smile and cleared his throat, "Right. But before I show you, just know thati would never try to implicate someone" he said and handed his phone to me.
I frowned at the device, but switched it on. There was a recording, so I played it. Two people were talking, one was Reece and the other was....Jordan?
He was saying things, things I couldn't want to believe. Things that I couldn't imagine him saying. I paused it and returned the phone to Reece.
