“Mommy!” Sigaw ng isang bata sa loob. Napatingin ako sa kaniya na masayang lumapit sa amin. Napatingin siya sa babaeng kinakarga ko at nagulat sa nakita.

“Anong nangyari?! Binagyo ba si Mommy?!” Gulat na sigaw niya habang nanlalaki ang mga matang tinuturo si Adel na mahimbing pa ring natutulog sa bisig ko.

“S-sir, please come in.” Biglang sabat ni Rose. I have known her because she once attended social gatherings for businessmen. She’s an intelligent woman who was once included in my list of candidates for a political marriage.

But of course, that was all in the past. I could’ve chosen her if that night didn’t happen since I didn’t really care about marriage at that time. But it's not the case now.
