"Yes, Ma'am? What can we do for you?" the receptionist asked.

I looked around before smiling. "I am here to talk to Mr. Stavross Agravante. Is he here?"

The lady in front of me smiled genuinely. "Yes, Ma'am. He's here. Matanong ko lang po kung anong sadya niyo sa kanya?"

"Uh, may sasabihin lang ako sa kanya. An important matter."

"Oh, ganoon po ba? Do you have an appointment with him, Ma'am? Naka-schedule ba ngayong araw?" tanong uli niya sa akin.

I blinked a few times because of what she said. Appointment? Bakit ko nga ba nakalimutaan iyon? I need to have an appointment with him so I can talk to him. Ang tanga, Aya!

Napansin ng babae ang reaksyon ko at mukhang nalaman niya ang problema ko. She nodded and pursed her lips together.

"You have no appointment with him, Ma'am?"

Kaagad akong umiling. "I'm sorry. Wala, e. Pero pwede bang makausap siya kahit wala iyon? Tell him that it is urgent and very important. Please." pagmamakaaw
