LOGINAlina POV
“Hello Alina” I turned and was faced with that same brown eyed man, his eyes full of glee but there also contained the most hint of lust. “What are you doing here?” I managed to choke out. I wasn’t expecting him to show up here of all places. But what did I expect? He was a millionaire. This was the last person I wanted to be seen with. The last man I slept with before Victor left. A memory flashed in my head of Victor’s expression as he told me he could never be with a woman like me. How he laughed, how his hazel eyes sparkled. It brought back horrible memories. This man in front of me brought back all of them. I hated him. “I knew this lush body could only belong to one person.” The man in front of me purred and reached out to touch my breasts through my dress. I pulled away, cringing at the mere thought of his body against mine. He frowned at me, confused as to my actions, his fragile ego immediately bruised by my rejection. “Excuse me.” I mumbled as I pushed past him. The next thing I knew he had pulled me back by the wrist making me lose my balance and fall on him. As soon as my weight fell on him my breasts smashed painfully into his chest, and I bit my lip, trying not to cry out in pain. “Don't worry, my love, I can take it, can't I?” He growled huskily. He smelled like champagne and something masculine, I couldn't place it. Where was Logan? I needed to get the hell out of here. “Let...go…” I gasped in pain between his smell and his touch. “No, no, no” He smiled, releasing my wrists and pulling me back against his hard chest. “Let her go.” I looked back and saw Sebastian glaring at us, his expression filled with rage. “What? She is mine” the man scoffed. Sebastian looked at me and mouthed a silent apology ‘Sorry’ “Not anymore, she is my wife.” Sebastian said firmly before pushing him away forcefully and bringing me to his side. “You will regret this.” The man growled, looking down at me, his eyes narrowed. “If I did, we both wouldn't be here right now.” Sebastian retorted before turning to me, “Are you okay,?” he asked. I could tell he wasn't happy with what happened but decided not to press further. “Yeah, I am fine.” I replied, feeling embarrassed by what just happened. “Let’s go” Sebastian said softly, holding my hand, walking towards the exit with me close behind. When we were outside in the cold air he stopped and turned to face me. “I'm sorry.” He surprised me by saying. I looked at him as if he had transformed into something new in front of me. Sebastian wasn't one to apologize. Had an alien take over him? “It's nothing. Let's just go.” I said, refusing to look at him and walked away, knowing very well that if I even dared to glance into those warm eyes, my resolve would break. I downplayed everything. After leaving the hall venue, Sebastian drove us home. Occasionally I could feel him glancing at me. When we returned, I followed him quietly as he headed to his room. He stopped at his closet and opened it, taking a white shirt with blue jeans and tossing them in my direction. “Change.” He said sternly before walking away. Leaving me stunned. What was he planning on doing? I quickly changed, not wanting to anger him more than necessary. Was he angry? “Who was that guy?” He asked. “Are you surprised? One of my numerous men. You know I am the city whore.” I chuckled dryly at my own sarcasm. He lifted my chin gently with his finger “Don't talk about yourself that way. Don't be sarcastic with me when I ask important questions” He growled angrily. I gulped before I lowered my gaze once again before replying: “Of course.” “Go to bed” He said simply, not waiting for any reaction from me. “He was the last man I slept with…” I called after Sebastian retreating figure. He stopped dead in his tracks. He looked at me, raising an eyebrow in question “Don't worry, I'll sleep alone tonight” His eyes darkened. “Go to bed” He repeated. I closed my mouth and went under the duvet while he closed the door silently, tears stinging my eyes. I had worked so hard to stay strong yet each time it seemed someone from my past resurfaced in my life and hurt me once again, I just couldn’t keep it together. So I cried myself to sleep. I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I couldn't remember where I left it before falling asleep, or who called me in the first place. I wiped the sleep from my eyes before searching for the mobile and answering it. Before I could get any response however, I heard another voice coming from the opposite end. “Alina.” The unfamiliar voice sounded strained and a little worried. “Hello?” I mumbled confused, rubbing the sleep from my eye with my free hand. “Yes, who is this?” “I didn't know he was your husband, please… I am very sorry.”He sounded as if he had been crying or he was being beaten , probably both. “I…” I started “Please let me finish” He interrupted me, sounding more desperate “Please. Listen, Alina. I should not have touched you. Your husband is about to ruin my life, everything I have worked for. Beg him for mercy, please. I don't have a choice anymore.” He pleaded. I sat up, wide awake now. “What did he do?” I asked nervously “He… he….he” He let out a cry and the line went dead. I jumped from the bed, my heart hammering violently inside my chest. “Hello?” I yelled. The line was quiet and I tried calling back, repeatedly. Nothing. What has Sebastian done?Sebastian POV When she was done with the phone, she put it back on the side table where she had taken it, avoiding my gaze. The air was still heavy with sexual tension and I could tell there were things we wanted to say to each other but couldn't. So instead we both stood quietly, waiting for the other to speak first. “When are we going to start making an heir?” I blurted out not oblivious to the fact that my words reeked of desperation. She looked up in surprise. “Why didn't you say I would beg?” Her words held sarcasm now. “For someone who doesn't want to be around me, you are sure enjoying this push and pull episode.” I matched her energy as best I could. My voice was rough but at least my face didn't show how my bruised ego. I walked towards her and she did the same as if we were daring each other . She came to a halt just inches from me and I could catch the fragrance of her hair. Our breaths mixed together in the stillness of our proximity and for a split second ev
Alina’s POV “Did you fix it yet?” Charles eyes were boring into mine, and so were those of Vanessa. “Not yet, grandfather but I am on it” I tried to pacify them both. They looked at each other with an unreadable expression in their eyes. It was strange, but the way they looked, it reminded me of how Grandfather looked when he first told me that was his favourite granddaughter. His face was blank as usual, his gaze almost emotionless, but somehow that made him look more approachable than anything else. “How long is it going to take?” Vanessa whined , and her words seemed directed only at me now. I couldn't say, I resolved to bow my head in shame. “You see why you shouldn't have left her in charge? She doesn't deserve it. Everyone knows I am the better granddaughter.” she continued as if talking to herself. “It's too late for that. There's nothing we can do now.” Vanessa said in an attempt to console her. She rolled her eyes “That's bullshit grandfather. Are you going to sit he

Alina’s POVSebastian stormed out without me. He left me standing there in front of his father and I wanted to cower and hide from the man’s glaring eyes and I could hear my breath coming out heavily through my nose. But my pride didn't let me. But eventually, just when I wanted to turn away slowly, he stopped me.“We need to talk.” There was still anger in his voice but he wasn't yelling now. The anger that had been in his eyes before was gone and replaced with an odd sense of calm as if he understood something about what I was feeling.I was confused by his statement for a few seconds.“How much?” He asked . His words were calm and quiet but there was a certain intensity in them that made me look up at him again. He seemed like a person who didn’t get impatient very often.“Huh?”My brow furrowed as I tried to process his question. Did he want to know how much this situation meant to me or did he want to know where we stood now? “How much do you need to stay away from my son? To
Sebastian POV “Why did you marry me?” She was in my office, looking feisty and hot in the well-tailored navy blue pants she wore and a cream shirt. Her eyes were burning into mine with that intensity I was so used to from her on the field. It would take more than this, but it was enough for her to make me lose any semblance of control over myself, especially since I already was having a rough day but instead I smiled in amusement which made her more furious. “Is that the real reason why you married me? You wanted my grandfather's company to run into ruins and you just needed a good plan to start your destruction? Is this what this is all about?” She went on yelling and I could tell her voice had lost its usual cool edge. The smile immediately fell from my face. What was she going on about? “What are you talking about?” My voice sounded more serious than I intended because at the sound of my stern tone she calmed down slightly, but not much. I took a deep breath. It only see
Alina’s POV“What do you mean?” I asked, staring at the grey-haired man in front of me who had come along with his team.“We no longer want the partnership with your company,” he said in a gruff voice while looking out of the window and not meeting my eyes. “It is time for us to take over our own business,” he added after a pause. “But everything has been going smoothly, what changed your mind?” I asked, looking at him with an eyebrow raised in disbelief. “We have already taken care of all that matters. My board members voted for a dissolution. We wouldn't want to associate with a company whose acting CEO's reputation is on the line because of its bad business practices. It would be best if we go our separate ways” he answered, still not meeting my gaze. “The merger was a very good idea and we appreciate your support for our decision,” he added. With these words, he got up from the chair opposite to mine and left without saying another word. So did his team.I collapsed against my
Alina POV"I want to speak to Sebastian Wolfe” I said as I stepped up to the front desk. The dark haired secretary took her time, running a mocking gaze over me, from my dirty, wrinkled dress to my cheap shoes, messy hair and ruined make up. I knew I looked crazy, but I didn't care. I was a desper

Alina POV"Oh God," I let out a moan I didn't feel as the man began to kiss a line down my throat, hands roaming all over my body. The man mouthed at my exposed cleavage, making a sound of pleasure low in his throat, "God, baby. You taste so good." Of course I did, I had spent over three hours so
AlinaThe pain was immediate and excruciating but I kept myself together. I didn't cry, I didn't move, I didn't react. Not for long anyway. It was a good thing that I had learned self-control. “Mother!” Sebastian yelled angrily. He walked up to his mother and pulled her away from me. “Now you lis
