Isis watched James leave in anger. Though still tipsy, she was more sober than before, now and she could tell what she was doing. Despite the insults James rained on her, as soon as James stepped out of the hotel room, she ran after him. He was almost at the elevator when she ran to meet him.

Holding the hem of his shirt at the back and panting heavily, she spoke. "Babe, wait, please."

James stopped on his tracks but didn't turn to look at her. His back to her, he replied. "Yes? What do you want? Are you ready now?" He questioned her.

Isis, still panting heavily, acted like she didn't hear his question. Instead, she began to beg him over what he had said in the room before storming out. Anyone could say that he only said it out of anger, but she knew him too well, and she could tell when he meant something or not.

Since he said it already, the fear of him going to meet another woman to get what he wanted made her scared. She didn't want to lose him, not now, not anytime soon.
