THE UNEXPECTED PROPOSAL

Ruth's POV

I looked out of the window - it was dark . There was no glimpse of the moon at the sky that time . The clouds were rumbling as if the sky would fall off anytime soon. The stars were no longer shining - everything that could be seen was - pitch black darkness....

I sighed a little while lying on my bed . After coming back from Mr. Alexander's house ,I was feeling so confused and number that I fell on my bed without even changing my clothes. And I dreamt about the same dream that I was having since long enough to remember each and every detail of it too much more clearly. Though the nightmare didn't haunt me anymore since I came here - here in this small town where I was meant to come from a long while ago.... My heart shook with fear as I recalled the conversation with Mrs. Gordon, Mr. Alexander's granny. My head started to hurt again.
