Willow POV It was the sun shining at my eyes that woke me up. I checked the time 1pm. Whoops I really did have a late night. I felt fantastic, rejuvenated and happy for the day ahead. Willow POV After they left, I decided to have a bath and relax before climbing into bed. I hadn’t felt right all day and something was nagging at me inside. I had drifted off at midnight only to be woken up by shouting and our pack alarm going off. We were under attack. I try to push for my parents through the mind link but both had it closed off. I got out of bed when I heard a blood curdling scream and a multitude of explosions hit the ground floor. I race out of my room to the stairs to find fire had already engulfed the downstairs door and hallway, also blocking my route to the back door. The flames start to climb the stairs and I race back into my bedroom. I open my window to jump out when I can’t seem to get past the window frame. Almost like an invisible barrier stopping me. Epilogue Willow POV 5 days had passed since Thomas was taken from us. We laid him to rest at the pack graveyard where he would join his family. An only child with no descendants of his own, his family line had finished. After waking up from the fire, I just remained in a state of shock. Everyone took it in turns to stay with me.
