Penny POV 

Earlier....

I wore my hoodie cap properly before jumping down the window...I know what Max wants is my safety....he would never let me go to see my dad... but I just have to go

For 10 good years this question has always been on my mind...I've had sleepless nights cause of this ...I ain't gonna let this opportunity slip by me

I just pray Max won't get upset...I thought walking hastily down the empty street

I sat on a bench next to the water fountain... running my eyes through the park hoping to see my dad

"Looking for someone ?"I heard him snarled behind me ...I turned abruptly to see him grinning with his hands tucked in his trousers pocket...I felt uncomfortable all of a sudden...maybe it was a bad idea coming here... but it's too late to step back now...

"Am here as you asked... now tell me what I wanna here" my voice cracked a bit

"Why are you in a haste?... it's still early"

"Just fûcking tell me what I wanna here!"I snapped losing my patience

Does he really think I wanna be here... staring into the face of the same man who has caused me so much pain... from taking my dignity and my sister...am disgusted seeing him....the breeze blew across my face as slience stepped in...he kept staring at me 

"Tell me already..."he kept mute for a while

"You really wanna know green eyes....?"

"Don't call me that name!"I rasped

"Don't you ever call me that name you bàstard !"I pointed my index finger at him

"Okay Penny" he corrected with a 

sigh seating on the bench

"Becca and I we're lovers....more than lovers...we planned on spending the rest of our lives together... it would have been so if not for the interference of Chelsea"

"W...what!?.... that's mum"

"Yeah your mother...she looked all innocent and good to you but in real life she's a she devîl!"he spat

"The person you call mum got me bethored to her... thanks to her father status in the community we got married ..."he scoffed lightly before continuing

"I and Becca planned to run away but the bîtch didn't let that happened... Becca had to run away cause of that...her live was at risk...years later we got married and gave birth to you guys"he stared at me ...I noticed a tear drop from his eyes

"I know you won't believe me Penny...ask Christan...she'll tell you the same thing"

"Hate me all you want Penelope...it wasn't my fault for treating you this way"

"Penny!"I turned abruptly to see Max

"Penny !"he rushed to my direction grabbing hold of my arm

"Are you okay?...did he hurt you?... Penny!....speak to me!"

"You bàstard!...what did you do to her?!?"he rasped ... he marched to his direction about to grab hold of his neck when I pulled him back

He grinned lightly... staring at me the me

"Good night daughter"he walked away gingerly

"Penny what's wrong?...why did you stop me?"I looked at him with teary eyes

"Max let's go home...he's not to blame... he's not the villain here"

"What!?"he yanked his hands away from me

"Penny are you okay?!...did he brain wash you or something?"

"Am fine Max...let's go home so that I can explain everything to you"he kept quiet for while staring at me 

"Fine...let's go"he humed... throughout the ride we kept quiet....my mind was occupied about what my dad said

I never knew my mum...It can't be possible...if it was nanny would have told me all about it

I took a deep breath before explaining everything to him..he paid rapt attention as I spoke

"Penny ..."he said lowly... grabbing hold of my hand

"Penny his clearly lying to you... anyone can cook up a story"

"Max...how can you say such thing!"

"Penny what he told you was bullshît....think about it Penny....after a failed attempt to shot you...he called up all of a sudden to tell you something... don't you think that werid"..I frowned deeply as he spoke

"I suggest we report this case the police_"

"So that's what you're gonna say... unbelievable"I said scoffing loudly

The bright ray of sunshine shone on my eyes through the window

I turned around hoping to see Max cute face but later realised I didn't sleep with him last night

After the little misunderstanding....I slept in an another room

"Knock... knock"

"What is it Max!?"I snapped still angry about last night

"C'mon sweetheart I said am sorry please forgive me"

"No way Max...go away!"i heard him grunt before kicking the door open

"Seriously!?"

"Now can we talk..."he stood akimbo

"Penny I know you're mad about last night and am really sorry..."

"Max just leave!"

"I don't even get why you're mad...you dad just mad a cooked up story and you brought it!"he yelled...I climbed down the bed feeling so angry

"You don't know how I feel cause you've never had a father!"...

"Fine then..... you can go to hell for all I care!!!!"he marched out of the room grabbing his car keys headed for the garage...he's car drove out of the compound

Oliver arrived at the penthouse only to see James and Cassy

He looks at them both before climbing up the stairs

"Come back here Oliver"James stated coldy

"What is it!?"

"Where have you been!?"James asked

"Putting my plan in action"he smiled

"What plan?"

"I'll tell you but first who's the bîtch"

"That's Cassy... our new partner"he grinned

"Can she be trusted?"he asked while Cassy bowed her head

"She can...now what plan ?"

"Been talking to Penny lately"

"I told you not to harm her!"just then Moscow came in

"Sorry to interrupt boss... Sir Oliver... Max has been spotted driving out of the condo"

"What's happening?"James asked

"Max and Penny are having issues as we speak... Max's a fool... leaving Penny all by herself"

"So you plan to divide and conquer?"James asked

"That's right....I've divided them.. it's time to conquer"
