Katherine kept fidgeting the hem of her skirt while seated in Ashton's car. Ashton was finally going to introduce his fiance to his parents. It was not that they hadn't met earlier but this was more like an official meeting with his family after they had got engaged. And moreover this was the first time she was going to his house.
After a sleepless night, Katherine was relieved to know that Ashton's grandparents had offered to come for the dinner after Ashton told them how nervous she was to meet his parents.
"Babe, you need to calm down. No one is going to eat you there and besides I will be there with you. So relax." He placed him palm on her thigh.
