Zander was sure Kat would be furious but as Logan ran her into the water she was laughing. Zander had never really paid much attention to Kat before but when he did see her she was always shying away from people not laughing and drinking like a normal girl.

Zander was mad at this point. Had he not made it clear that he was getting to Kat first. As he made his way into the water to interrupt Logan and steal Kat away Logan kissed her, and she actually kissed him back.

"What the...!" Zander thought to himself. He couldn't do anything to Logan, that was Zanes best friend and he hadn't been in the conversation when he staked his claim. Logan was actually a good guy. He didn't sleep around like most of the guys on the football team. What was happening. Zander was actually jealous.

"Whoa, I'm so sorry Kat." Logan was apologizing for kissing her. Zander was happy to hear that, maybe Logan was coming to his senses.

"That's ok Logan. It was actually nice. I haven't had this much fun in a long time." responded Kat.

Kats shirt was drenched and see through. Logan couldn't help but look. He looked back up at Kats face and his cheeks turned red. "Sorry." he said bashfully.

Kat was secretly thrilled. She knew Logan was not like the other guys on the team and they seemed to really be getting along. She didn't mind the kiss either it's not like he shoved his tongue down her throat.

All of the sudden fireworks burst into the air. Everyone was watching the show and playing in the water. Zane and Allie were next to Logan and Kat like two happy couples.

As the fireworks ended everyone headed back up to the house for more drinks. The party was far from over. Zane handed Kat and Allie towels and even offered them each a shirt to put on. Neither of the girls seemed to care. This night was going much better than Zane could have imagined. He was sure Allie would stay with him tonight he just wasn't sure if he wanted to go that far with her yet. Zane really did like Allie but could there be a future? They were not friends at school. He was sure his friends would accept her but what about Kat. He knew Allie would never leave Kat out. Was Kat willing to change too?
