Zander had been watching Kat all evening. It was finally getting dark out and they were getting ready to start the fireworks. Zander noticed that Kat has had several glasses of punch by now and seemed much more relaxed than when she arrived. She has even been talking to a lot of people.

Zane had also been serving Allie numerous glasses of punch. He was positive he would win his bet tonight. Zane was starting to realize what a good person Allie was though. What if he didn't just want her for one night but actually liked her. Zander would never let him live it down. Kat was also a really cool girl. Who knew that Zane would start to care about these two girls in just a couple of hours. Maybe it was the alcohol talking.

When Allie pulled Kat to the bathroom Zander walked over to Zane. "What's up with you and Allie?" he asked.

"Nothing we're just hanging out. Maybe you should hang out with us and get to know her and Kat." replied Zane. "If anything it will make Portia even more mad than she already is. Brooke left her circle in favor of Kat."

Zander looked over to see Portia smiling and winking at him. "I'm never going to be with her I wish she would just give up. It's our last year of high-school I'm going to have as much fun as I can."

Just then Allie and Kat returned. "Hey girls we're about to light some fireworks down by the beach. Do you want to join us?" asked Zander but he was staring at Kat when he asked.

"Sure that'd be great! Right Kat?" Allie pushed. "Kat made a new friend with Brooke. I hope I didn't lose my best friend haha."

Kat looked at Zander and couldn't help but notice how attractive he really was. Those eyes were such a pale blue they were incredibly luring. "Ok" she shly took Zanders out reached hand.

As they were heading to the beach Portia walked by and bumped into Kat spilling her drink all over Kats hair and back. Portia and Sophia were laughing loudly so everyone who saw started laughing.

Kat was humiliated. Brooke got in Portias face and said "What's your problem Portia? Just because Zander doesn't want to go where every man has been before doesn't give you the right to pick on other people!"

Portia was humiliated. "Well at least he doesn't have to get me drunk to sleep with me!" She knew Allie and Kat didn't know the punch was spiked. She looked at the brothers and asked "Since when do the two of you have to get girls drunk for sex? Even rejects like them!"

Zane was furious. "You need to leave now Portia! Don't you ever show your face at our house again." He looked at Allie and realized she wasn't even mad at him. "Allie I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to get you drunk to get in my bed."

Allie looked at Kat then back at Zane and said "I realized the punch was spiked earlier and haven't even been drinking it. I'm not with you because I'm drunk." She then turned to Kat and said "I'm so sorry for letting you continue to drink. I should have told you."

Kat said "It's ok Allie, Brooke told me about the punch. I just want to go get washed off."

Just then Logan a guy from the football team said "Kat you are so cool I would have been mad. I have an idea!" He picked Kat up and yelled "Night swim!" and rushed into the ocean. Soon everyone was running into the water.
