Kat was sitting on the beach by herself since Allie and Zane seemed to be in their own little world. She jumped when she heard Brooke say " Hi Kat, I'm Booke Leachman."

"Um hey Brooke, I know who you are. We've gone to school together for years."

"I know we've just never really hung out at the same places." replied Brooke. "It's good to see you out having fun."

"I don't know about having fun I'm just here for moral support for Allie. She seems to really like Zane." Said Kat.

"Well let's see if we can't fix that Kat. You should have fun too. You know you really are gorgeous. Why do you hide your beauty?" Brooke asked.

"I don't hide I'm just more comfortable my way. Aren't you one of Portias best friends?" Kat was starting to get suspicious. 

"Actually we haven't been close for a while now. I guess I'm finally growing up and seeing what kind of person she is." Brooke admitted. "Let's go get another drink. What are you having?"

It was nice to have someone to talk to so Kat agreed. "Just punch for me, I'm driving."

Brooke gave Kat a funny look but in the end just said "OK".

The two girls went and both got a glass of punch. Maybe Brooke wasn't so bad Kat thought to herself. At least I'll have someone to talk to while Allie and Zane suck face.
