Chapter 2- The Formal Meeting 🤝

So that woman is an instructor of my university.

Amari Deinty Daegan - Filipino Major, Instructor 3, and still studying for her MaEd.

Well she's fine, she has a long brown straight hair, her nose is not exactly as mine, but it's cute, her beautiful tantalizing eyes and her sweet peach curvy lips, Not bad!

But dude, she's assuming! I can't stop myself from smiling and grinning when I remember what happened a while ago. Her cheeks turned into red like a cherry when the maintenance told where exactly her car is. She's beautiful and impulsive.

I touch my cheek that has been slapped, it does not hurt anyway.

And about her punishment, I put smile on my lips as I formed a naughty punishment for her. She is now my subject.

But before that, I should check her background.

I'll call my right hand in Europe.

"Hello, Donatello, I had sent you an email, kindly send the result by tomorrow"

"Ok sir, noted."

"Thank you, bye".

It's not a bad decision to stay here in the Philippines to do the task. I'm gonna have fun here.

After thinking, I went to my shower to take a bath and sleep.

In the next morning....

This day that the admin of my university will properly introduce me as the owner. Well as expected, many staff will be surprised that a young bachelor like me owned a lot of institutions, businesses, and some buildings here in Don Vizcaya.

The announcement has began.

And I knew that miss assuming is here. I'm at the back of the stage of a mini theater of my university. So no one can see me before the announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen good morning. We are here today to attend this one of the memorable event here in university." the MC begins.

" Last year, we were very surprised for the sudden announcement of our President. President Clauvese Mines announced that the owner of this university will come personally to show himself to us. And today is the day." The MC said.

"No more further ado, I will introduce you Mr. Marcuz Auri Veunn." And that is the time I went on the stage.

Everybody stand and welcome me with their warmth applause and wide smiles. I sit on the intended space for me. I search for someone and boom. I got her. She looks pale as she watches me. I smile at her and she can't hide her blushing cheeks.

" Mr. Marcuz Auri Veunn is resided in Luxembourg, Europe. his mother is a pure Filipina while his father is half danish and italian. Let's just say he is in his late 20's, just guess it.

He owns 7 major steel factory in Europe. Aside from many businesses inside his country, he has also hotels and restaurants in US, Italy, Taiwan, and here in Philippines, he owns businesses, landfills and Mauve University."

"He is also an alumnus of Columbia University and he took his Doctorate in Oxford university."

"Let's talk about his personal life?, hehe Alam ko Yung iba Jan excited malaman kung single pa ba si sir, Isa nadin ako don"

"Mr. Mauri is...... ........................................

giving his speech now". Dahil Wala naman talagang nakasulat about sa lovelife Ng mokong.

People are roaring and talking with their colleagues, because of what the MC said. They're all dismayed.

That's the cue to give my message. I went to MC and speak on the mic.

" Good morning everyone, so I'm happy that I'm officially introduced to you as the owner of our university.

" About being single, in a relationship or married? hmm I will answer now your curiosity. To be honest I'm ...... ....,................................................

in the process of discovering where cupid's arrow strikes. and maybe I think I found it here yesterday."

As I told that, there are oooohhhhsss inside the mini theater. I find the girl in the middle of the crowd and seems she's uncomfortable for what I've said.

" Anyways, that is not my purpose in staying here. As you have heard from the MC , I owned this University and there are so many tasks and things to do and to improve. Actually my family is surprised because they did not think that I'm going to build one. This is my first ever school and I'm happy because it was in the Philippines.

I hope we can join together to build an institution which promotes excellence, peace, equality, quality education and a performing institution not only locally but competing in global community. "

"Thank you so much for your warm and unforgettable welcome".

"Lastly, some of you did notice that I was here yesterday. And I'm glad one of you made my day despite of jetlag and being exhausted. Thanks to you Miss assuming. And forgive me about being rude and arrogant to you. It's just fair because I taste the sweetness side of you, your hands on my cheek."

Before I gave the mic to MC, I stare her and again, I see her cheek flushed.

(Adee's Pov)

Is this for real? That arrogant man is seeking forgiveness from her? And he is the owner of this university!!! Teka parang ayaw I sync in Ng utak ko mga nangyayari!

Shockssss at siya si Mr. Marcuz Auri Veunn, ang may ari ng M.U?

"Adee! my gosh ang gwapo pala talaga ni sir Mauri!" si Delavin.

"Hayan Adee, siya si mister Mauri. Now you know" dagdag pa ng bakla.

" Sino kaya yung na meet nya dito kahapon. Kung Alam ko lang di sana hinanap ko siya at ako nalang ang nagkusang nag welcome sakanya".

" Pero in fairness sa tinutukoy niya. Napansin nya agad ito ha, akala ko isnabero si papah!

Hindi ako umimik dahil hindi pa din ako makapaniwala sa nangyayari. Siya ba talaga yung nakausap ko kahapon? Yung nakasagutan ko tungkol sa bike, Yung nasampal ko Dahil sa pagiging assuming ko? Kaya pala titig na titig sakin.

At naalala ko, kaya pala sinabi niya na magkikita kami at......... paparusahan ako! Lagot.

Shockssss Adee, baka aalisin kana sa trabaho, lagot na. Lagot talaga ako Kay daddy kapag nangyari Yun.

Pagkatapos Ng ilang announcement, nagsilabasan na kaming mga staff dahil magmi meeting pa ang admin at si Mr. Mauri.

"Kanina pa ako salita Ng salita dito, Adee nakikinig kaba? si Delavin.

" Ah, pasensya na, medyo di Kasi ako nakatulog kagabi, ano ulit Yun?”

" Saan mo gusto kumain kako, sa canteen ba o sa food court". Dahil alas onse na nang matapos ang program.

" Bibili nalang ako sa food court tas kakain nalang ako sa faculty sir"

" Nakakaloka ka, sige Adee sa canteen nalang kami". Nagtatakang umalis kasabay Ng mga kagaya Kong staff.

" Sige, sige."

Nang patungo na ako sa food court, nakalimutan Kong lalalmpasan ko pala ang mini theater.

Bakit ba Kasi sa food court pa ko bibili.

Babalik na Sana ako palabas na din ang mga nasa loob.

And the eye catcher of the crowd. He is wearing Armani ash blue coat na napapalaliman Ng puting long sleeves, and it fits him, lalo pang nakadagdag sa kamacho han nya ang fit na Slacks at kumikinang na sapatos at ang Armani Exchange Emporio na relo.

And that smell is very familiar to her. Ang halimuyak Ng kahapon.

" Oh it's you" wika niyang palapit sa akin.

Hindi ko Alam kung aalis ako at tatakbo Dahil sa hiya.

"Sir may I introduce to you Amari Deinty Daegan. Our instructor in Filipino. She's under the College of Teacher Education, one of the best in our department", si dean.

" Yes sir, she is the most active, hyper and very warmth teacher that the students can't resist her " panabat din Ng department chair ko.

"Hello sir, good day and welcome to your school" nahihiya akong nagbaba Ng tingin at tinago ko ang paniguradong namumulang pisngi.

" I think she's shy, and please this is not only my school, it's ours, without you guys, this university will be nothing."

" Do you want to join us for lunch?" tanong niya.

Nagugulat man ako at nakatingin sa kanya. Date ba to?? Assuming ka talaga!

Nang di pa ako sumagot ay tumikhim ang mga staff na nakapaligid sa Amin at hinihintay Ang aking sagot.

" Yes sir, I'll join you po". huli na nang mapagtanto Kong pwede namang tumanggi.

Dahil malapit Lang naman ang office of the president, naglakad nalang kami dahil dto lang din sa loob Ng building.

Ilang minuto pa Ang lumipas.

"So how's our programs and courses here? Do we need to add more?" tanong niya sa president habang kumakain.

" Actually sir, we have over 100 courses to offer. We have also more than 10 departments in the university. And we are planning the extension program which is the graduate school. We have also conducting the research programs as a thesis and a requirement for the accreditation of our university. These two programs is under the College of Teacher Education." mahabang paliwanag Ng president.

Tumango tango lang siya.

" In graduate school sir, we offer the masteral and doctoral program for the professionals who wants to study more and pursue their doctorate level." wika ni dean.

" Yeah that's great. Thank you for taking care of the university. This is my first time to handle an institution like this. Even if I graduated my doctorate last year, it's different from my main interests and that's in the business world. I hope you guys help me into this."

Lahat ay napatango at ang presidente ang nagsalita.

"We love our job sir, we love helping , nurturing and molding a good citizen in this country. And we care about the future of our clientele. That's why this university is performing well. We requested also sir some of the accreditors will be from other country to join in the next accreditation, just for your cognizance".

" Ok, great job, thanks for that. Just inform me if you need some help and to catechize some of your proposals."

" Thank you sir". wika Ng pres.

Habang kumakain ay wala kaming imik Hanggang sa matapos kaming lahat.

" Mr. Mauri you came here yesterday right? si Vice pres." muntik akong mabilaukan Ng marinig ko.

" Ah yes, I came here yesterday at around 5 maybe?"

sabat tingin sa akin.

" Why did you not inform us sir, to accommodate you personally".

" I know you guys are busy. I just check the university site. I'm happy that someone welcomed me. In a surprising way." sabay ngiti Ng nakakaloka.

Habang ako namn ay nakayuko, dahil sa hiya.

"Ok sir, if you need something or someone you just tell us, we are happy to serve you as well''.

' Yeah, I will be needing someone who will assumes that he owns me". sabay sulyap sa akin.

Mas lalo pa akong yumuko Dahil sa kahihiyan.

Lahat ay napangiti at napa ooohhh. Karamihan sa mga admin staff ay mga jutanders na Kung kiligin ay parang teenager.

" Just kidding aside. But the truth is yes,. I need someone who can help me, especially I will be staying here for months or maybe a year. Or maybe someone wants me to stay here forever", at matamis nga ngumiti.

" Actually this is not my first time to be here in the Philippines but it's just visititation and it takes only minutes to be here. Unlike now, I'll be staying for a longer time, it's new to me."

" Don't worry sir, we will help and serve you. Just remind us when and where. And as soon as possible, we will be there." ang dean ng College of Engineering.

Ang ibang mga staff ay napabungisngis.

" So let's call it a day. It seems that you need to resume your classes." wika ni sir Mauri.

Nagsilabasan na ang lahat. Dahil ako ang nasa pinakadulo at pinakabata sa mga umattend sa lunch, bilang respeto pinauna ko Silang lahat.

"Hey miss Deinty." habol Niya sa akin Ng palabas na ako. Kaming dalawa nalang Ang natira sa may pintuan Ng office.

Kinakabahan man ay napilitan akong harapin siya.

"You know, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday. Forgive me for being rude and arrogant."

Nagugulat man ako ay Hindi ko nalang ipinahalata.

" Ok sir, apology accepted. And I'm sorry also for being too harsh on you yesterday, and for the slap. Please don't fire me for that sir."

" I'll not fire you, unless....,, you won't help me here. "

Yun Lang naman pala eh.

" Yes sir I will help you"

" In everything?

" Yeah? If I can, why not."

" You'll help me to find someone who assumes that I'm His".

Naalala ko na naman ang assume assume na Yan.

Nang di ako umimik, ay natawa siya.

"Just kidding, anyway I'll call you if I need you". at inunahan na ako palabas.

Palabas na din sana ako Ng bigla siyang humarap sa akin

Bago ko siya abutan ay mabilis na siyang naglakad palayo sa akin pero rinig ko pa din ang mga halakhak nya.

Pervert! porke gwapo kana.. hmmm

At bumalik na ako sa klase.

Habang naglalakad pabalik, hindi ko maiwasan ang mapangiti.

Pero nakakahiya Yung ginawa ko kahapon. Sinampal ko ba Naman Ang isang multi-billionnaire.

Pero kinikilig ako..

Dumaan muna ako sa faculty office.

"Akala ko ba dito ka kumain babae" bungad ni Delavin.

Sakto namang dumating si Department chair.

"Ma'am Adee, may ipinabibigay si sir Mauri, naiwan mo yata kanina noong lunch sa president's office". sabay abot ng aking notepad.

"Thank you ma'am" wika ko saka humarap kay Delavin.

"Explain this to me later , girl" impit na wika niya.

"Nothing to explain, it's just a lunch with him and with them",

"Ah, ah, ah, kahit pa buong M.U Ang naglunch Basta ikwento mo."

"Excuse me" si Reina sabay irap at bangga samin ni Delavin.

"Problema mo!" bulyaw ni Delavin.

"Paharang harang Kasi kayo sa Daan"

"Hoy madam! Ang luwang luwang Ng daanan, akala mo naman to!" Hindi na pansin si Reina at tuloy tuloy naglakad patungo sa klase niya.

"Hayaan mo na, hindi lang napakain Ng champorado noong bata yan, kaya ganyan Ang ugali"

sabay kaming tumawa.
