LOGINGetting drunk on the night of her graduation was never a part of Andrea Daleâs plan. She was supposed to be finishing the designs for her new clothing line before the deadline. She had only planned to make a quick appearance at the party before getting back to work...but instead, she ended up drunk and dragged into her crushâs room. It was a trap. What should have been one night of celebration spiralled into something else when she realised she wasn't the one that woke up on his bed, but her step sister... Amelia, who later found out she was pregnant for him.

"You have to go, please ~" Alexis pleaded, her eyes twinkling cutely. "Nope, not happening. Your puppy eyes no longer work on me." I said, giving no room for any discussion. My eyes focusing back on the iPad in my arms with my legs crossed on my bed. I've been trying to meet up with the deadline to create more designs for my new clothing line, but with Alexis here... there's no hope. I could already feel a headache coming. "Just this once, it's your graduation night for God's sake Andy...live a little." She grumbled. "I'm too busy for that and you know it..." I stated the fact she already knew. "I know but you've never gone to a party once in like what...four years?!!" Her eyes widened as she counted with her fingers, realizing it's actually been four years since I ever partied. "Four years isn't that long, and you know I'd rather stay indoors than go out" I sighed, already distracted from the gown I was trying to design. "Just this once, do it for me." She blinked cutely, then added "And besides, the party is being held at my place." Hearing that, my head snapped up as I stared at her in shock, like I'd just seen a ghost. Her place?!!! "Absolutely not!!!" I screamed at the top of my voice. "What? Why?" She asked, dejected. "You know why" I rolled my eyes. "Ohh!" She snapped her fingers, "It's just me, he's on a business trip. You don't have to worry about a thing." She smiled triumphantly. "My answer is still no. You know you can't make me leave the comfort of my own home to a place where there's loud music and sweaty people rubbing against each other." I said. Brushing my hair back with my fingers, I dropped my ipad and finally gave her my full attention. "I promise you won't have to do a thing, you just have to show up for the party and stay for some time." She pushed. "It's a party for your graduation" she added, making me feel guilty. "I..." Before I could reply, I heard a knock on my door, soft and almost quiet. "Come in!!" I said. "Hi, Andy" Amelia walked into the room with a smile on her face , her little dimples showing on both side of her cheeks. "Oh, hi Lia" I smiled back at her, gesturing for her to come closer. Amelia is my step sister, I'm older than her with just a year but I like treating her like a child because of how cute she looks. I'm a sucker for cute things. My dad married her mom six years ago and I was so happy for him, I'd never seen him happier with anyone else since my mom died ten years ago. The first time I met Lia, she was the cutest, most obedient fifteen years old I've seen and I couldn't help falling in love with her. "Come sit" I said, patting the space beside me on the bed. "Thanks, Andy" she smiled again. Smiling, I turned around just in time to catch Alexis rolling her eyes. "Ohh, hi Alex. Didn't see you there" Lia waved at her and I could practically see fumes coming out of her ears. Alexis has always hated being called Alex. She said it was because it made her sound like she was her brother, but Lia never fails to call her that anytime they meet. Chuckling, I tried to calm the air between them, before they start blowing my ears off. Alexis has always hated Lia for some reason, and Lia always makes sure to get on her bad side by calling her Alex. "Oh shoot, look at the time" Alexis exclaimed loudly as she picked up her phone. "Are you supposed to be somewhere else?" I asked, completely forgetting about the party. "Yeah, duhh" she rolled her eyes sassily like I was a dummy. "Ohh!" I nodded. "Come on, I'm asking you as your best friend to come with me to the graduation party I threw for you." She pleaded again, knowing that if she puts it that way then I wouldn't be able to say no. "Okay, fine!!" I drawled, raising my hands as I finally gave up. "Yay!" She squeeled with delight. Ugghh!! What did I just get myself into? "Are you guys going somewhere?" Lia asked, her voice soft... like a light breeze. "It's non of your business" Alexis rolled her eyes at her again. Glaring at her from the corner of my eye, she muttered 'What?' before going through my closet to choose what I was going to wear. "Just ignore her, we're going to a small party at her house" I said, paying no mind to Alexis who was practically tossing my clothes across the room. "I thought you didn't do parties?" Lia asked, her face showing concern. "You don't have to worry about me, I'll be in her room throughout" I said pointing at Alexis. "Can I come too?" She asked suddenly, making both of us stop whatever we were doing to stare at her. "No!!" We both exclaimed but for clearly different reasons. "Why" Lia asked, her expression changing slowly. "You know why, Lia. Your not strong enough to go to parties" I said calmly, my voice tender. Amelia has always been the sickly type, so she was prevented from going to places like parties. "But you told me I can do anything I want, that I shouldn't let my illness hold me back" She blinked. "I know I said that, but..." Before I could continue she jumped up and ran out. "I'm gonna go get ready" she screamed behind her. "You spoil her too much, you guys are practically the same age" Lexis sighed "She isn't what you think she is though." She added. "Not this again, why would you say that? She can barely do anything on her own." I rubbed my forehead in frustration. "Let's just get ready. Here wear this" she said, throwing a piece of clothes on my face. "This??" I asked in exasperation, using my thumb and index finger to pick up the skimpy dress I didn't know was in my closet. "Yes, this. Now go put it on" she glared at me menacingly but all I could see was an angry cat. Chuckling, I ran to the bathroom to try on the dress, but there was no way I was wearing it anywhere that isn't my room. "Purrfect!!" Lexis coed, her eyes growing wide with joy. Sighing in defeat, I stood in front of the mirror and I gasped. The gown was too tight, too short and too opened for me. It was a black coloured dress that accentuate my curves, my cleavage was out in the open for everyone to see. Turning around, I could help but exclaim in shock as I saw how big the gown made my ass look. "Damn bestie, you're like a walking sex appeal." She whistled loudly, her eyes roaming around my body. "You can't wear that!!!" I heard an angry voice as the door swung open.ANDREA Opening my eyes felt like lifting a mountain. Everything was blurry at first, bright lights shaping into white ceilings and pale walls. It took me a moment to understand where I wasâŚa hospital room. I frowned weakly. The last thing I remembered was collapsing by the side of the road. I didnât remember anyone finding me. I didnât even remember being brought here. My head throbbed as I slowly turned it to the side. That was when I noticed someone sitting on the chair next to the bed, their head resting on their folded arms. Sleeping, or maybe passed out from exhaustion. I blinked a few times, trying to focus. Messy hair. Shoulders slumped. A rough, unshaven beard covering a face I knew too well. Dark eye bags, like he hadnât slept in days. Alex. A small breath escaped me, shaky and confused. He looked nothing like the sharp and put together man I knew. He looked worn out, almost broken, like he had been fighting the world and loosing. He was right there beside meâŚlike he
ALEXANDER I drove like a man possessed, not slowing down for a second until I saw the bright lights of the hospital ahead. My heart was hammering so hard I could barely breathe. The moment I reached the entrance, I didnât even bother to park properly. I just threw the car door open and jumped out. The engine was still running when I sprinted through the sliding doors, my chest tight and my legs feeling like they could give out any second. âWhere is she?â I shouted at the nurse behind the counter. âAndrea Dale! They just brought her in!â The nurse looked startled, flipping through a few papers before answering quickly. âSheâs in the emergency room. Theyâre treating her right now...â I didnât wait for her to finish. I ran down the hall, my shoes pounding against the floor, following the signs that pointed toward the emergency ward. When I reached the door, I was about to push it open when a nurse stepped in front of me, holding out her hands. âSir, you canât go in there,â she said
ANDREA I pushed myself up slowly, my legs shaking under me. Every muscle in my body ached, but I knew I couldnât stay there. The thought of being found by them again sent a wave of panic through me. I had to move, even if I didnât know where I was going. The ground was cold and rough under my bare feet. Every step stung as small stones and twigs dug into my skin, but I kept going. I wrapped my arms around myself, shivering from both the cold and the fear crawling up my spine. The forest was silent except for the faint sound of crickets and the crunch of leaves under my feet. The air smelled damp, like rain and soil. Every shadow looked alive, every rustle made me flinch. I kept glancing over my shoulder, half expecting to see someone behind me. I didnât know which direction I was heading. I just walked, moving through the darkness with my heart pounding hard enough to echo in my chest. Sometimes I tripped over roots or stumbled into branches, scratching my arms, but I didnât s
ANDREA A sharp pain exploded through my stomach, knocking the air out of me. I gasped and curled up, clutching my side as tears burned my eyes. The pain was unbearable, spreading through my already bruised body like fire. I forced my eyes open, blinking through the blur of tears. My vision was hazy at first, but then I noticed someone, a small figure standing right in front of me. She wasnât one of the men Iâd seen before. This person was shorter, her build slimmer. She wore a black gown that clung to her frame and black heels that clicked lightly against the concrete floor. Her face was covered by a mask, hiding her features completely, but I could still feel her eyes on me. I tried to speak, but only a weak sound came out. My throat felt dry and raw, my voice barely a whisper. The woman didnât say a word. She just stood there, staring down at me like I was nothing. My heart pounded in fear. Who was she? Why was she here? I tried to crawl backward, but my body wouldn
ANDREA Opening my eyes groggily, I felt a banging pain in my head that made everything spin. My body ached all over, every muscle screaming with pain. For a few seconds, I couldnât even remember what had happened or where I was. The air smelled strange, damp and musty, like old walls and dust. When I tried to move, a sharp pain shot through my side and I gasped. My wrists burned where the ropes had rubbed my skin raw, and my stomach felt sore, each breath hurting more than the last. I blinked slowly, forcing my blurry vision to focus on my surroundings. This place looked different. Smaller. Darker. The floor was rough concrete and the walls were bare, with cracks running through them. There was no window this time, only a weak, flickering bulb hanging from the ceiling, giving off just enough light for me to see an old chair and a few broken boxes in one corner. That was when it hit me...they had moved me again. My heart started racing. I turned my head quickly, looking aroun
ALEXANDER I was in the hospital corridor, barking orders into my phone. My voice echoed through the hallway, sharp and rough from exhaustion. âSearch the entire area where they found her,â I said, pacing back and forth. âEvery corner, every house, every damn tree. I donât care how long it takes, just find something! Anything!â âYes, sir,â one of my men replied quickly before I hung up. I leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. My eyes burned from staying awake all night, but I didnât care. Andrea was still out there. That was all that mattered. Hours passed like days. The quiet hum of the hospital made the wait worse. Everyone looked drained. Lexi sat in the corner with her head in her hands. Andrew stood by the door, silent but tense. Mr. Dale kept muttering prayers under his breath. Then finally, the doctor came out and said softly, âSheâs awake now.â We all rushed in. Kate was sitting up weakly, her eyes swollen and her lips dry. The moment she saw us, she broke
