Chapter 21
Mark and Andrew first noticed Lucas was missing by 9 PM. They had looked for him in his bedroom and outside the apartment but he was nowhere to be found.
"Could he have gone vampire hunting without us?", Andrew asked.
"Let's go and check his stuff, let's see if his custom is still in the apartment", Mark suggested.
They both went back into their apartment and searched Lucas' room.
"Yes it is here", Andrew confirmed after finding it. His new clothes for hunting and mask were still in the shopping bag as they bought it from the mall earlier in the morning.
"So since he is not out hunting, what could he be doing?", he asked Mark.

The beta werewolf faced the incoming vampires head on as he crashed into them, ripping two apart in an instant. The others swarmed over it, tearing and biting it from all angles. It fought back, breaking free and ripping a further two apart before it was once again covered by dozens of vampires. It stood no chance against their numbers and coordinated attacks.The others moved into the werewolves' territory destroying their homes and burning them. The other beta werewolves came together as one to stand a fighting chance against the thousands of vampires in their home.
