The kiss lasted for a while until they both let go. Silas held her hand as they both walked along the poorly lit street.
"Can I ask you a question?", Mildred said, looking up admirably at him.
"Yes, you can ask me anything", Silas said, smiling at her.
"Okay", Mildred said, smiling back at him before looking away shyly.
"Aren't you risking too much for me, would Dracula ever accept us as a couple?", she asked concerned.
"Yes I am risking a lot but I'll gladly take that risk for you".
"Dracula is a difficult lord to please but I believe I can win him over. Maybe finally our union may end

Mildred held Silas in her arms as she wailed his death in anguish. It was really touching sight to behold. In the moment he died, the truth potion he shared with her expired and her sense of loyalty to him ended but the love she had for him was unchanged and she wept bitterly for him. In her sorrow she made the heavens open and it started to rain.
