TWENTY EIGHT

For a long time, Calistha prayed in St Paul's Church accompanied by Aiden, who had only been staring at the people who were praying with a straight face. When feeling bored, Aiden then raised his wrist to look at his watch which was showing four in the morning. It turned out that he had been in that building long enough with Calistha. But for the serenity that this church offered, he liked it very much. He seemed to be able to forget his complicated problems for a moment while looking at the holy-looking people clasping their hands.

“Do you want to accompany me upstairs? I want to see the view of the City of London from the top of the tower.”

Without saying a word, Aiden immediately got up from his seat and walked towards the right passage that would lead them to the tower.
