I hated my life. I wished I were dead.
I ran away from an abusive family and found even worse. Trey was the devil dressed as a lamb. With blond hair, and baby blue eyes, he was clean-cut, charming and dependable. Everything I needed in my life.
I met Trey a few months after I left home. In a bar of all places. I was sitting with Alaina and her boyfriend. He caught my eye as soon as he walked in. Beautiful wasn’t a term I tended to use when describing men, but he was beautiful.
