Blind Date

“What was that for?” Dash asked grabbing my arm.

“What?” I whined taking my hand off his. We were in a secluded spot of the school.

“Why did you set Rosario and I up?

I looked stupid!... Wha…” he sighed moving away from me slightly.

“What were you thinking and how did…” he chuckled angrily. “ How did her note appear on the stairs?”

“Well…” I shrugged. “I heard your conversation with Manny on Friday night.

You like her.” I said. He was silent for quite a while, not saying anything.

Then he faced me and walked closer.

“What I like have never mattered anyway.” He said.

“Enjoy it while it lasts now duuh!” I said.

There was another while of silence then he said something surprising.

“Rosario is smart.” He said. My brow furrowed. Uhh… ion get?

“That’s why I’m keeping my distance.

I even met her before coming to the school, I talked to her on my first day cause I liked her,” He said. My brow furrowed.
