Never in a million years nor in my wildest dreams would I have imagined my life would end up like this… That accepting a job offer from my father’s shady-ass narc would have led to me being married to the woman of my dreams, with a daughter and son. Amory’s period is a day late and the funny shit is she doesn’t even notice, and if she does she’s keeping it to herself. However, she does emphasize to me how tired she feels, so on Friday night when she wants to go down to the club I’m surprised. I know better than to tell her no though, but I do convince her to wear shoes with a smaller heel. I wake up in the bed of my Brooklyn apartment wrapped in Jonny’s arms, and if we weren’t both completely naked I’d almost be inclined to believe that the last few months of my life were just some really bad dream. I called Spin last night and plead with him for space, and after promising to return to the lake house by Saturday he reluctantly agreed. I feel sick, although I don’t admit this to Jonny. Instead, I emphasize that my feet hurt, my back hurts, my boobs hurt, my butt even hurts, and I’m just tired beyond exhaustion. I am understandably pissed the fuck off since Amory’s last date with Spencer. She brings me out to the spot by the lake we’d snuck off to a few times, only to tell me they had sex the night before. I’m disgusted, but the fact that she admits to being somewhat drunk when it happened really bothers me… Like he took advantage of her and she doesn’t even acknowledge that part!
