CHAPTER 119

In some ways being with Vanessa was the easiest thing in the world, but in some ways, it was the hardest thing for Edward.

It wasn’t always easy to shut off the part of his brain that just wanted to keep working on his company’s issue day long. He loved it. But he also loved being around Vanessa.

The part that was the most difficult was how easy it was for him to stay at work long hours on days when he knew he wouldn’t be seeing Vanessa.

When Vanessa had worked all that Edward would do was stay at work. His schedule only changed when he needed it to.

Logically he knew that he hadn’t really changed his ways that much at all. He was still putting in long hours, just adjusting them around Vanessa’s schedule.
