Emma’s POV
I was following the whole interrogation from outside the room. Kayla is doing a good work.
I checked my watch it was 11:40am. I wanted to call Kate but I decided not to. I will call her after the interrogation is over. So I relaxed and followed the interrogation process.
Kayla’s POV
“What did he have you do?” I asked. “All sort of illegal stuff and murder. He ordered the assassination of Mary, attempted assassination of Kate and the murder of Albert.”
Basically, we have gotten the evidence and statement to put Smith behind bars for the rest of his life.
Since the murder of Albert was what broke the Pandora’s box, I wanted to know more about it.
“About Albert, what really happened?” I asked. “I don’t really know, the boss was not interested in killing Albert. However he discovered the boss’s secret so he had to kill him,” he answered.
