Chapter 21

The water was filled with different species of sea creatures. It had different colorful plants growing on the rocks.

I looked behind me and everything was black, dead as I knew it, and then I looked forward to the blue water.

I was in the middle of the two opposite sides, and I was tempted to go to the clear blue water. I thought Lovette would love it here. I threw my hand to my hair and started pulling at it when a piercing sound passed through my ear.

It was like that of a woman screaming—crying.

A blurry face of a woman with red hair popped up in my head.

None of the females in the sea here have red hair, so it must be from my lost memory.

Was she a lover of me? a mother? A daughter? Why can't I see her face? I felt like she was very important to me and a part of me that I never knew existed wanted to find her.

I placed my hand forward to pass through it, but I couldn't. It was a wall made out of water. I tried pushing harder to get through it, but it was impenetrable.
