4. Eat

                      Mia's p.o.v

"Where the hell is she!"

Margret's voice woke me up instantly. I sat upright and looked around, it was already morning and the sun was showing between my carelessly closed curtains.

"Shit," I whispered under my breath then quickly stood up and brushed my hair backwards with my fingers.

The door burst open and Margret walked in furiously.

"Help me Goddess with what I will do to you young lady, what the hell are you still doing in your room, do you think this place is your little playhouse!" She yelled on top of her voice.

"No ma'am," I answered quickly.

"Then why are you still here when your friends are nearly done with the pack chores?" She asked.

"I wasn't that well and..."

"And what! Just because you had a little fever it didn't mean you were going to die, are you dead?" She asked mockingly.

"No Ma'am," I answered under my breath.

"I knew it, just because beta Chris lifted you up, now you think you are special in any way isn't it?" She asked angrily.

"No, I'm sorry ma'am," I answered softly.

"It's fine Child, you won't be eating anything the whole day again, hope your sorry will help you learn something." She said then turned and walked out.

I cursed in a whisper then quickly walked out with a frown. I was mad at Meg for not waking me up, she was always the first one to wake me up but then again this was the first time that she had let me oversleep.

"No food again," I muttered to myself while walking outside.

My stomach was growling in its own selfish way. I was hungry and thirsty because of usually being left out to starve, and punished.

"Here goes nothing," I whispered to myself when I reached the pack house.

I was still scared over what had happened with the twins and our warrior. Deep down I knew I had to act tough despite the fear I felt every time I glanced at them.

I slowly walked in and heard a few whispers coming from the dining hall.

"Is the silly girl still not yet here?" Margret asked from the dining hall.

I quickly went there and found Meg and a few of the ladies serving the table. Margret looked at me with a glare and pointed at the mop that was on the ground.

"Since you woke up late you will be moping the floor alone while the warriors eat." She said as the ladies giggled.

"Yes ma'am," I answered softly when inside I was yelling at her.

I hated cleaning when the warriors were eating, their eyes were mostly on my ass and they made sure to deliberately throw pieces of food on the floor so that I could take more hours to finish up, I had no idea why they mostly did that to virgin omegas, those that already had their heat and sex were treated differently.

"Is the table set?" Christopher's voice came from the stairs.

"Yes sir," Margret answered while we all lowered our eyes to the ground.

"Good, you can all leave." He ordered.

We all bowed to show our respect. I looked at Meg and noticed that she was being pulled by a few ladies, I was about to follow them when Margret gave me a death glare.

I stood still and went back to were the mop was, the woman was very brutal with those omegas that were disobedient, I was already a bad seed in her eyes. I didn't want to make it worse as it was.

I got on my knees and began mopping the floor.

"Why didn't you go with the rest of the girls?" Christopher asked behind me.

I stopped what I was doing and turned to face him. When I did I held in my breath, he had a red, bruised cheek and a few claw marks on his face that seemed like they were healing.

Without thinking I stood up and moved to touch his face, he quickly extended his hand to stop me from moving any further.

"Please stop, don't come any closer." He whispered then looked upstairs nervously.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look at you, it was on impulse, and when I saw your bruises I wanted to...I just...."

I trailed off not really understanding what I was trying to do too.

"I'm fine, thanks for your concern but can you keep a distance from me, please. Until I recover," he whispered as I frowned not understanding what he meant.

"It was epic, the fight was legend." One of the warrior said loudly from the passage.

Before I could see them I knew they were a lot more than they usually were at breakfast.

I quickly went back to what I was doing while Christopher moved and sat down on the table.

The warriors soon joined him and bowed to greet him then began eating in silence.

I swallowed hard and tried to do my best to ignore them, but annoyingly I couldn't because they were at their worst behavior as usual, staring at my ass with each movement I made.

"Do you think she is still a virgin?" One whispered to his friends.

"We will find out soon, I heard next week will be her birthday, she will soon go in heat. Let's just hope she never finds her mate," The other answered.

They were dumb stupid if they thought I was going to spread my legs for them that easily, heat or not no one was going to touch me unless it was my mate.

All of a sudden the room got quiet.

The aura in the room instantly became cold and threatening, I didn't have to turn or look up to know who it was.

"Alphas, it's rare seeing you downstairs for breakfast," Christopher said respectively.

I was more in shock that they were in the dining hall, never had they ever come down for breakfast, ever. The fact that they were was shocking.

"Beat it." A deeper husky voice commanded.

The warriors quickly stood up and I found myself doing the same, the command lanced in the voice made my feet move on their own.

They all looked at me in surprise but I luckily rushed out and almost reached the exist of the dinning hall when one of the twin growled in warning, I was Stuck like a stupid rock at one place without moving.

I watched on the side as the twins sat down with Christopher, my heart was beating rapidly and I was becoming nauseous.

"Hey come and take a seat," Christopher said shocking me, I wanted to look at him and ask if he meant me a lowly omega.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, lift your head." He said softly.

I bite my lower lip in fear. Did he even know what he was saying in front of the Alphas, an omega was never allowed to look at them, let alone share a seat with them.

"Should I make you?" He asked.

"No," I answered in a whisper then walked to the table and slowly sat on the chair that was at the far end.

"Pick something to eat," He said.

I looked up in shock and found two pairs of blue and green eyes staring at me intensely.

I stood up from my chair in a second and shook my head. I didn't look at the twins that much, all I saw was that their eyes were darker and sharper than I had thought, what shocked the most was the difference in eye color, according to most people who dared to look at them closely, they said the twins were like a person and his own reflection, but then no one mentioned how their eyes were different and mesmerizing.

"Sit down." A deep voice Which was slightly different from the first husky one commanded.

I found myself complying without a second thought.

Chris picked up a plate and pushed it to me, I looked at the plate and saw that it had three slices of cake on it.

"Here," He whispered.

I bite my lower lip and faced the other side.

"Eat," A deep husky voice commanded.

I couldn't understand why they were doing this to me, was it punishment for being late to do chores. Or was it because yesterday I was about to fall and to them, I showed weakness.

I slowly picked up one slice of cake with a trembling hand.

I leaned in and took a bite from the piece, the taste was delicious but I had no appetite to eat, I forced myself to chew while praying to the moon Goddess for everything to end soon.
