Chapter 86- SUSPICION

PABAGSAK na humiga si Leopold sa kaniyang higaan nang makauwi na siya sa kaniyang bahay.

Invisible hammers pounded at the sides of Leopold’s skull with fatigue as he watch the white ceiling of his room. Few more moments had passed before the familiar darkness consumed him once again.

Sandpaper ground away the tired eyes of Leopold. Fatigue from his past missions really took a toll on him this time. A quick check of his watch indicated that it was already eight-thirty in the evening.

He was too lazy to prepare his dinner so he opted to brew his black coffee. He took a sip of his steaming coffee, his fuel of choice to regain his energy.

As he stood on his balcony watching the beauty of the night sky, Leopold thought about all that had happened these past few months.
