*Amelia Pov*

I felt so bad that Helen won't be attending the mask party tomorrow, it's time to sleep but I can't sleep because of my wolf.

"So you are going to the mask party as a waitress?" Red asked.

"Seems so," I replied.

"I can't believe this, and you are going to put on this silly dress there?" She asked.

"What do you think?"

"You are so stupid to even agree to wear that." She said.

"What do you expect me to do, fight my mother or what?" I asked Red.

"I understand but we need to do something about this outfit okay, the mask is a bit okay but the dress, is so not in line even if you are a waitress," Red added.

"So what do you think we do?"

"I guess in elementary school, you did some needlework, right? Let's remake this outfit into something good, what do you think?" Red suggested waiting for my response

She makes a point, I looked at the dress and imagined a new design that will make it look beautiful.

"Wow, Red, why haven't I met you since I turned 18, this is super B."

"You see, you are something with me."

I took the needle and used it all night making sure the dress became good then I finally slept off.

The next morning, I woke up so early cleaning as usual then my sister came trying to provoke me, "I know you are happy to attend the mask party for the very first time but please do not embarrass me this evening."

"I won't," I replied.

"And by the way, I need you to clean my room now."

I could feel my wolf Red boiling, "Let me take over and give her some scolding, how dare she, she has no respect."

"It's okay Red, I don't want issues later, let's just let her be," I replied.

"I will do that once I am done," I replied to my sister as she took her leave.

"I can't wait for the day we both are in fighting combat, I will teach her a lesson she will never forget," Red spoke angrily.

I finished doing everything and ate the remaining left for me.

It was getting close to starting the event when my parents started giving me rules.

"I see you did somethings to your dress, but listen good, you are a useless wolf and you are not supposed to look at any person here eyeball to eyeball, you can't be friends with anyone, do your duty by serving drinks and do not embarrass me," Dad said and mom added hers as well.

"All for just a mask party, your father is stating out so many rules," Red said.

"Yeah."

"What if we meet our mate tonight?" Red asked and I have never thought of it.

"I don't think we are meeting any mate and even if we do, we will get rejected by him so let's forget about that and get ready to serve drinks," I added taking a deep breath.

Lorde Pov

"Okay but I am not leaving until you tell me you are going to attend the mask party," Simon added.

"Oh Simon, I have other things to do and besides, I don't think my mate will be there," I replied him.

"Are you the moon goddess?" He asked me.

"No, I am not."

"Then what makes you think your mate won't show up at the mask party? Besides the full moon was out last night, who knows, she might have met her wolf form." Simon said with a serious look.

"I will think about it, now leave," I commanded him.

"Better think about it, you are going and any schedule you will be having tomorrow, I will make sure I help you carry it out perfectly." He added.

"Get lost," I added with a smirk.

"I was leaving anyway, my office is better than yours." He said before leaving.

"You are attending the mask party and we are coming home with our mate," Raja added.

"Why don't you come out from my body and attend the party?" I asked.

"You so silly, I won't let you rest unless you attend the party." He threatened.

"Please I need to focus on work now."

The next morning, my mom was already in my room, "Good Morning son, I did some shopping for you for tonights mask party, what colour would you go for, red or grey?" Mom asked smiling.

"Mom," I called getting up from bed.

"Good Morning Alpha Lorde," Simon said smiling, he told my mom.

"Mom I all not going this time around, you know I don't miss any party."

"Come on son, all the alphas look up to you, you need to kill your pride and attend, who knows you might meet her."

"Mom I have made up my mind, I am not going."

"When did you make up your silly mind, you are going," Raja added.

"Raja please be calm," I replied.

"Okay, but you are going."

"Son you are going," Mom added giving me her sad look then I finally accepted to go.

Getting to the time for the party, I was done dressing," Simon when I come back, I am going to kill you."

"I can't wait to be killed." He said laughing.

I drove myself out of town to the Blue Moon Pack, coming out from the car wearing my mask," Alpha Lorde is here." They all announced giving me the general alpha greetings.

I gave a short speech and they all clapped, music started playing while I excused myself to get a drink from the discussions I was having with other alphas.

"What is it, Raja?" I asked.

"I can feel her, our mate is here." He said and I was so happy.

I knew it was her when she served me a glass of wine, "Stay where you are." I commanded her and she obeyed, then I took the tray from her giving it to another waiter to serve.

"I want to dance, dance with me," I said.

"You are such a fool, are you using your status now?" Raja said.

"I need to enjoy my first dance with her."

I noticed she was shaking while dancing with me then I stopped taking off my mask, "Take off your mask mate for I need to see your face." I ordered her.
