Stefan POV
“No!” I cried out, covering my eyes to shield myself from Damons' attack, I was wrong, and I admit it. I knew how he felt about Eve II and I know how he feels about Lilith, and I shouldn't have interfered. Curled to the corner of the room I felt nothing, was my demise quick and painless or was I spared.
Slowly I lowered my hands from my face, and before me was a cloak, a purple glowing transparent force, protecting me. Beside me stood a frightened Lilith, with her hand raised aloft, guiding the shield.

But she didn't respond, instead, she dropped her hands, bursting into tears, “Why are you guys fighting?” she sobbed. “I should be the one losing my mind right now, don't you understand what I've been through all these years...
